Huh just when I thought the day was going reasonably well, I had a phone call from my bank to say the cc had been used for 'unusual transactions'. Yes, I agreed that I had definitely not been in the US buying stuff for a playstation at 3am..........What is odd is that just over a month ago, Mr N had the same thing. Now, it was a different cc (although same bank), we have different names although the same address - but on both occasions the last transactions we had done prior to the 'theft' was in Tesc0 - but different shops 6 miles apart. I told the bank this and she thought it unusual. So now my card has been cancelled and they will send me a new one. Pah. Neither of the cards were stolen physically, or ever out of our sight, nor does anyone else have our numbers. Neither are often used to buy stuff on-line.
Apart from that, I've finished and sent off another report, had a nice meal out and am now heading for bed!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
FBO- well done on your hour run! You are definately a 'proper' runner!
Bossy- enjoy Lapland! It was something we were planning to do either this year or next year but with our little surprise arriving in 7 weeks, I'm not sure it will happen now. Ds will be 8 next Christmas.
Thank you to my flylady secret Santa. It arrived this morning!
After school tonight ds2 had his nativity and then ds1 had a carol concert so by the time we got back OH and I had a chippy tea! Then I gave the nursery coving a final coat- the carpet is coming tomorrow!! I also did a load of washing, and wrote some more Christmas cards. Nothing off the list though!
Tomorrow I am doing some errands in the afternoon and then ds2 has swimming. After that we are going to our local farm for a Christmas sing along and a mince pie! So won't be back until late. OH is out for the night after that so I am hoping to get some presents wrapped!

Evening all
Busy day here as well, but I've met my work deadlines and completed almost all the Christmas shopping. I literally need 5 items maybe then I can think about wrapping themWhile I was out I also bought 4 more cookery books from a charity shop - they have an offer of 10 books for £1.99 so I managed to restrain myself to 4: Low fat baking, 2 slow cooker ones, and "The Joy of Cooking" from 1973
