Tired, tired, tired...
2am we got to bed, with a poorly pixie for the 4th night running who did at least sleep this time.. upside down on top of the covers with a banana, but she slept! She is still laid there now so hopefully she will feel better when she wakes up.
My mother has the nasty cold which is sweeping through everyone and I got the blame for giving her it because she came to our house knowing I was ill! That makes it my fault apparently!.
OH is home today and he is not sitting doing nothing all day.. I have a lovely little list for himLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning all
TD done, mashed veg for xmas dinner done, breakfast eaten, meat for the stew in SC, opening times for the shops I want to go to checked, all online stuff done except for email which can wait since I get it on my phone anyway. I'm just going to write my list for the shops, put the veg & stock in the SC, feed the dog, get my stuff together to go and I'm hoping to be out of here by 9.30am...but we'll have to see:wave:

So I have done the feather duster thing in the gym and hoovered in there under everything. Have had a quick hoover right through too, dog bed covers are in the WM, rubbish and recycling are out, WUDUPA, put away clothes on airer. That's it. Paid stuff now.Spend less now, work less later.0

Today is an epic day at yorkie towers - first day back at work since June.
Today is Christmas lunch. I have managed to arrange that I am only working in the playground.
Our Christmas lunch is when the kids are back in the classroom. Could be interesting, as there is some animosity between the staff who work with the packups and in the playground and those who work with the hot dinners.
I must also get to the chemists to hand in my prescription.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Will be thinking of you, hope it all goes well today xFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
I hope everyone having Christmas lunch today enjoys it.
The attic bays were boarded and the reason one chimney breast flakes carp all over everything is now clear. It's not damp. It's wet. Rebuilding both chimneys is going to be very expensive, but as one of them has quite a bit of interesting vegetation growing out of it, so it leaks like a sieve, and the other is on the wonk and will topple down if our luck doesn't hold, so that's an urgent job for next year. Listed property, too, with neighbours who are both selling because they've got a touch of financial cramp what with one thing and another. Oh dear. £££s.
The friends that were going to be staying on Friday now can't, so that means less work for me. Good. We'll still be seeing them for a night out of seasonal jollity so nothing's lost.
Tip run today with crud from the attic finally going and the kitchen floor that didn't get done yesterday will get done today.Better is good enough.0 -
Hope your first day goes well CY.. xx
I'm dressed.. and had a 20 minute slob on the bed.. it didn't work.. I need a rocket..

Oh dear, accidentally bought some more yarn for a poncho I want to make - in my defence I had to really to make the most of the sale on for Drops yarn - Pigpen I'm sure you'll back me up on this being a fellow knitting fan!
Feeling a bit jittery about Christmas really; don't do well with lots of people and that's what I'm going to have to face at MILs next week. Will have to take a deep breath.
OK, going to go and vacuum upstairs and sort out the multiple floordrobes after completing my typing job. Decided not to walk Whiz - too windy and rainy and he doesn't do either. Sensible boy.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Hi all, it was a while ago but I wanted to say thanks for your encouragement when I was feeling really low. I think tiredness didn't help. House looks like a tip but not stressed, just going to chip away. I've been sorting Christmas presents and the house is feeling it! dishwasher is on and the tumble drier with clothes I washed yesterday(?), so going to read back for inspiration and blitz as much as I can.0
