Mine are all set on my spreadsheets so I know what I'm working towards... that's the easy bit. The hard bit is sticking to it every month, eek

Ha, me too - spreadsheets for everything in my house. Most people would think I was utterly mad if they saw them all.

Whereas I just can't understand how people can survive without them!
  • Congrats on getting the goals set and posted (and on the spreadsheet) :).

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Me too, not just for budget but costings, lists, plans etc

I even have my shopping list on a spreadsheet and just print it off and cross out what I don't need :embarasse:embarasse

My budget spreadsheet tabs now mirrors my savings account list on S*nt*nder :D

    Day 10

Hit Mr M's early this am with only a few bits to get :D So how the bloomin thing becomes £86 :eek: I will never know

I always buy bits of food on the run up to Christmas but every year is the same the week before it is always double, so next year I am buying their saving stamps, no if or buts as this happens every year

I will have to review my Christmas spreadsheet there has to be holes in it a mile long because I had lots of "bolds" (already bought) stuff on it.

Why do supers always have to hike the price of joints on a friday too, gone are the cheap ones the £5 per kg reduced from £10.....................were they real or did they just have a token few at the very back, I wonder

Well the spreadsheet is looking good for next year and despite office being closed over holiday it's looking like I will be in 2 days, ordinarily it would annoy me but all I can think is how much can I use to OP :A...............and how much interest that will be :rotfl::rotfl:

Just updated spreadsheet, it seems I get a good start in October on buying food front then tail off as I start buying pressies at end November

On the upside total Pessie value £509.98 total actual cost £286.48 :D:D:D

Ooh, those are very good pressie totals :) well done you!

I've just done an online shop at Asda - booked a delivery for Sunday 27 in the afternoon, and the delivery cost was only £1 - I wasn't expecting that, it definitely helps the budget and the energy levels.
