Thanks MFD :D:D I have car breakdown to sort at end of month too :j

Went to L*dl this am as planned and was a tad disappointed that I couldn't get everything fruit 'n' veg wise but other than that it worked out quite well, got the items that I knew were cheaper and planning on cutting cheese into 3 and freezing it :p Think I will try Ald* next week

So far spent £11.56 with a possible £20 at Mr M's

On the DD front she hopefully has another interview today, in private practise (what she really wants) and OH is working Saturday so we would not have been able to go anyway :rotfl::rotfl: so I coped flack for nothing :mad:

Was going to say good luck, but then caught your last post.

I know how I would react, in both ways... I love it if my family didn't visit :D but it is nice to have balance.
And last night I almost chased my daughter and GD home as I wanted some peace :D:D

Luckily she's not one to take offence... she came back this morning... x

I think part of the problem is that DD and OH have always sounded off to me and sometimes I don't get any peace :D:D

I am the product of my own making to be fair and I do need to try to not get stressed when they do this...............like this morning :D:D

OH is supposed to be working tomorrow which is great in terms of overtime and a bit of peace :T:T

She has accepted that we won't be coming and has also admitted she is climbing the walls in boredom :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

My oh is generally a quiet man. Never says much unless it's about footie. Now my DD1 can talk the hind leg off a donkey. I've developed the knack of neither listening or retaining info. :)

I'm pretty sure my dad and my husband have that knack too :rotfl:

I have just read the first chapter of "The life changing magic of tidying" and wow to say it resonated is an understatement.

I think I am going to love this book
