  • "Hobbies" are fine, for crafting when you feel like it, becomes a job when you "have" to do it:(

I used to sew alot then got asked, will you do this, will you do that, became a "chore" for me and the enjoyment went out of it, but so long as you still enjoy it - keep going:)

Just watch out for that BP, know all about that, mine was 257/126  when I got sent home and was off till it was under control :o

    Today's little annoyance......................

I purchased a coat for my OH online on Saturday and paid for it, it was on offer. Funds left my account yesterday.

I have just had an email (Tuesday) from the company saying that it is out of stock, did I want the different colour. :(

I visited the website to check the other colour to find that the one I purchased was still available on the site but at the original price.:eek::eek:

I understand about sale of goods act, offer and acceptance in store but how do I stand here, technically they accepted my offer, am well cheesed and he so wanted this coat, always wanted one. I shot them an email off pointing out the fact...............Trading standards???

I'd be on the phone to them and keep quiet on your purchase...just ask them if they have your preferred colour in stock. If yes...then share your purchase and subsequent email ...enjoy them trying to get out of it ;)

Hope they honour the deal :)

I went to their website and added one to my basket, after they told me they had ran out

My opinion is that they are able to sell me one at the higher price (today) but if I want one at the sale price I have to have the paler, not so popular colour. Anyone have any consumer knowledge because this seems way off.
    Hope that makes sense

PS I will name and shame if they don't

Think I may ring trading standards tomorrow as well just to see where I stand.

I know it's cutting my nose off but will consider returning items just come and cancelling this order x

Just go all out renegade. Cancel the order, inform the, that there actions are immoral and they no longer deserve yours or your families business. Then inform them you'll be sharing your experience on Facebook and Twitter with your friends etc...the power of social media! Then buy from elsewhere in smug knowledge you have done the honourable thing!
