Chocolate cake sounds scrummy and surely walking the dog will burn off what's eaten!!

Hi Eating yes I am going with BT we are a bit limited on providers but thought with tcp it comes out the best x

Well I could say it's been a cr*p weekend and on paper it has but to be honest it's not been too bad

On friday I did the nurse, my bp is way out there 158/78 resting not too bad but active :eek: explains why I feel rubbish and feel agitated.

Had a bit of a spendy day saturday as I got OH and I coats for the holiday, I shouldn't have but always wanted a field coat as did OH plus I bought hats to match, offer ended Sunday so saved about £50 that's my excuse

Shop cancelled their order and want money back, the relief was amazing as I have struggled a few months with this, what with working long hours, being stuck at train stations and DD moving out it was really hard to get the time as when I did stop I felt ill (bp again) not that the shop had sympathy mind, which I thought don't want to do business with you then

Got on scale this am, :eek::eek::eek::eek: 16st 7.............was down at 14st 4 in september, that's what bread does for you ladies, 2st in 5 months..................so it's back to wheat free for me :D

Budget gone sideways and have learnt that I should not spend on the weekend, I don't have my spreadsheet to hand and my guess on how much I have is suspect. :mad::mad: Main thing is I have my holiday balance and have paid £250 in op's last month :D so not all bad

It does sound spendy! Not sure what the shop cancellation means, but you sound pleased with it, and thats what matters. And if it helps with your bp, then thats great.

I had a commission from a shop last year at beginning October (craft items), they paid 50% deposit. Commissions are really hard to do because you can't let your creativeness flow...................anyway at the time I didn't realise the impact of 18 hour days would have and then DD decided to move out so that occupied a month of stress (OH still devastated) I contacted the shop and rescheduled for end of January and explained, she was not happy. Since then I have worked between christmas and new year (day job that pays the mortgage, we are usually shut) worked two saturdays and had a migraine for 10 days. I was going to send them today and was halfway to completing them despite feeling rubbish when she cancelled wanting money back Saturday at 6pm

I am angry, I never let people down, ever but this was just too much , I really battle with OH over "my hobby" as he hates it (he will do anything to stop me and he only wants me to make stuff if he is asleep or at work) he hates me doing fairs so it has become a bit of a sore subject and I have been made to feel I can only do my craft when I am alone but have to complete all my other chores first too.........................in fact to be honest I am well p*ssed off at the mo, am sick of it. Take today client told he can pick up his stuff late this afternoon, rings me at 10am to tell me he is 5 miles away, but I gave you it last wednesday................oh that's ok I can write with my toes as well, split my brain 4 ways and still make a cup of tea...........when mentioned to colleague, she said well he said he was coming today..............oh yeah I forget I am so sh*t at everything and am a constant source of displeasure to everyone.

So I am glad the order was cancelled because I wasn't crafting from 7am to 9pm and then having a huge fight with OH because "I always get nasty when I'm making" but I am angry that she didn't have any sympathy and I am angry at how I have been portrayed in this fiasco but will know for the future

I used to get up at 6am and sew for an hour, that's how I get things done but haven't been able to with leaving house for DD at 6am hopefully that will start again

Ouch! To put it mildly no wonder you were angry ... I hope Feb. is a better month for you than January was ...

You are so right - crafting should be creative, not rote. Hope feb brings more time to create.
