    We've been with Virgin for about 15 years - whilst I'm happy to switch providers on most things, internet worries me! :D

    We were with Wanadoo, then it became Orange then it became EE. I was sick of paying over the odds our speed is 250kb :eek::eek::eek:

    And we have limited suppliers, can't use our phone line (1950's copper cable) and get charged more

    So when you all hanker for the country life, think of me and that will soon squash any harbouring of big country house and space and open fields and no street lights and hearing the birds in the morning and taking the dog for a walk and he doesn't have to have a lead and ...................ok maybe a dead phone is a small price to pay :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    1. Write a schedule/plan for big fair at the end of the month
    (this is a biggie as have nothing :eek::eek::eek::eek: to sell at the mo)

    2. Walk the dog at least twice a week (hey that better than zero)

    3. Start weight loss plan on Monday 1st February (piece of cake this one, just got to be good ;))

    4. Make gooey dense chocolate cake this weekend (need I say any more after item number 3 :D)

    5. Clear rubbish from DD's bedroom and take down bed (not sure if enough hours in the month for this one :p)

    6. STICK TO BUDGET :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hello Sue,

    I have just been enjoying catching up on your diary. I like your plan for February, the chocolate cake sounds delicious, I am a bit of a chocoholic myself. Walking the dog is a great way to stay away from the shops and online shopping.
    Our broadband is out of contract in May, thanks for posting about the PO as I will avoid.
    Not sure what's going on with Swinton but very good luck to you - I'm sure that you will win.

    Thanks Lexi I didn't get chance to post, accounts wait for no man.

    Swinton, our renewal was up on 8th January and when I hadn't had a renewal through just before Christmas I called them to be quoted about £90 more than compare so told them so, they offered me £50 off but that was on condition I took the legal protection at £30 So I said no.
    On the 7th I took out new insurance and a week later I received a letter from Swinton informing me my direct debit was cancelled. .......no never lolol
    This week I got a letter telling me they had cancelled my insurance and I would be charged a month insurance and an administration fee!!!!!! I don't think so x

    Good grief! These people are mad, aren't they! I'll be back in the fray after I retire - sticking with one insurer because its so tricky when you've got a clause about business visits to your home - but even so, a casual mention of how expensive it seemed brought about a £40 reduction, which pleased me. Hope that your new insurer is being fairer than Swinton.
