Shopping came in at £27.01 including loo roll ,today. I forgot the garlic for Friday's garlic bread as I thought we had some left. Some meals may change depending when OH comes out of hospital. He has requested KFC style chicken and chips for his homecoming meal.
I am stunned at how low my budget has been. I am feeding 3 adults, and by planning, shopping to a list and using up what I have it is amazing! I know this may not continue at this level as I use up my reserve, but spare money will buy stores at the end of the month I hope.. Morrisons had Mars and Snickers ice creams for £1 today, there are 6 in a box so that is 4 weekends of ice cream already bought (i don't have one)Now Mrs FrugalinShropshire:T Proud to be mortgage and debt free:j0 -
Evening
A spend of £22.80 today with the weekly shop, and hoping for a small top up shop at the end of the week. The oven has been on for 10 minutes tonight and it contained a small pasta bake for 2 lunches at work, a batch of cookies for the biscuit tin (the second half of the dough frozen for another day) and the 2 baguettes needed for tea. I'll update my sig. Have a good evening.

FrugalInShropshire: glad your hubby's doing well and coming home sooner than expected. :T
NSD here again and hoping for another run of them.
Our first shop of the month arrived yesterday and I've just sat and arranged another delivery with another £12 off voucher. Scheduled delivery for the 20th, and it has everything we need to the end of the month.
I do have 8 things to get at some point this week, so there will be 1 spend somewhere between now and then, but I'd be chuffed if we could do just those 3 spend days until the 20th as we always find going without 1 or two things thing is better than being sucked into the supermarket or corner shop and coming out with armfuls of whoknowswhat! :rotfl:

Hi there, I had a spend yesterday as we had run out of bread and milk over the weekend. Unfortunately the minimum shop is now £40 online at Tescos so I bought a lot of stuff that would have been on next weeks shop like loo rolls and flour etc. I have updated my total to reflect this but I don't think I need anything else this week so I am still quite a lot under budget. My stores are running down though so we will see what week 4 is going to be like

The cookie recipe is in the index at the front of this threadIt's under the Millie's Cookies link and it has become my go to recipe for cookies
I'm not sure how to link to it but it should definitely be in the recipe index.
