  • Evening all,

Arrrrghhh can't believe I haven't posted since Monday! Just so incredibly busy, it's ridiculous.
Why why why did I decide to book time off work to decorate just before Christmas? I'm mad that's why. I never learn...
This is me last couple of days: Only flying is daily stuff. Sanded, stained and oiled floor in girls' new bedroom. That room almost finished yay! Cards all written. Except flycards eek. Dog walked, swimming lessons attended, dentist visited, presents nearly all got, nativity attended (aww).

    CY brill news x
Dizzy glad things are moving on. It does make a mess though.

Hugs to all, Back tomorrow I hope xx
  • Morning all

Hello flyladies! I have a day off today, ive got to go for a wrist slapping (speed awareness course). So inconvenient this close to C.
I lost 2.5 hours last night at a school dance/gymnastics show that my child appeared in for a nanosecond.

I need to wash my work wear and there is a scary mountain of ironing to be done. Flycards will be posted today Natty.

Im going to try to meet my sister after the SAC. She lives nearby

    Morning

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday. My 2nd parents (best childhood friend's mum & dad) came up from Devon. They were due at 10am but arrived 12.30pm. House sparkled

Fat club attended total 9 lb lost. AF turned up after 79 days.

Mr M visited to get scrubbing wipes for nasty mould

Parents evening visited. Ds2 has been in a class most of the time this week. His levels have dropped but they aren't too concerned. :(

Befriender cancelled fortunately as we didn't get home until 5.30pm

Today's plan is to sort out grocery list and perhaps pop to a sm.
  • Morning everyone

Hospital yesterday so I didnt get any flying done. All OK except that DS has lost a bit of weight and he definitely doesnt need to lose any more.

So paid stuff this morning, then I am going to have a blitz in the study this aft. Hoping that its dry this aft as forecast so I can get some washing out. Have a good Thursday everyone x

    Oh my word!!!

Dot off nursery today.. there isn't anything obviously wrong other than she cant stop crying so clearly feels unwell.. she had a really disturbed night and wet the bed and stayed in bed until 8:30 and is currently laid on the sofa like a dying duck! She has no temp, no cough, no tummy ache, no head ache.. nothing.. She's just so sad!

OH just got back.. apparently she is the 3rd to be off nursery today!

    Morning all

Hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes and wishes to all.

I'm pottering away doing dailies and the odd extra job of an evening atm but not really doing the lists. I'm aching from standing at the window, and playing tug of war with the dog on Monday has hurt my wrist/hand. I can't even lift an empty mug without it hurting so I've bandaged it up, and counting myself lucky that its my left one since I'm right handed. I had planned to go Christmas shopping today, but I've changed my mind between my wrist and the dodgy weather so I'm going to do a couple of small errands when I make a delivery this morning then get on with painting the colours on my window. :D Then to top it off DD and I are both full of cold & sore throats, but she's about 2 days ahead of me with it and all either of us want to do is curl up and sleep :o

    So my lists for today:

    Work:
    Delivery AM school
    Delivery 8 PM

    House:
    Finish window
    Wash up - DD's job.
Ironing - Can wait until the weekend.
Washing - easily done one handed.
Mr A shop again for more milk! I only bought 4pints yesterday!!!

    Christmas:
    Buy/Write Christmas Cards
BUY STAMPS - first time in 3 years, thats how often we post stuff that needs stamps :rotfl: I only have 1 2012 Olympics on left out of a 6 pack :rotfl::rotfl:
Pick up a gift for DD from Mr A
Post Christmas cards - May have to be tomorrow morning.

Going to check email etc then head to the school with this delivery, carry on to Mr A possibly via the post office for stamps depending on how big the queue is, home and alternate a job with painting one colour on the window. I may be some time!
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Just got in from school run and then did a little walk with the dogs - Pip can't go far as she is a bit of an old doddery girl and I have to just stretch Whiz's legs but not let him do his Whippet zoomies as his dew claw is still healing. Suits me fine.Going to make a cuppa and need some paracetamol as got thumping headache. Going to quickly clean and then get the wrapping down from the loft and crack on with it as feel like I'm running out of time due to end of school term next week and don't want to be rushing around like a headless chicken. This afternoon going to S's 'banghra workshop' at Juniors and this evening got Z's carol concert at senior school. Looking forward to it as they're using it as a rehearsal for their trip to Holland next week and she's going to do the samba drums too!!

Looking at the posts we're all in the same boat really aren't we trying to get everything sorted in time. Hugs to all poorly people - flyladies and family, spoons and sticks to all who need them.

    Best be off x
