Oh dear, I hope whatever it is passes by tomorrow and you feel better Dusty.

Bossy how was DD's concert - did you need the tissues?!

Didn't get to go to S's banghra concert as apparently the teacher is unwell which is a shame. I did my cleaning and actually gave the window on the landing a really good going over as it hasn't been done [STRIKE]for the longest time and was minging[/STRIKE] for a few weeks. Looks so much nicer now and even makes upstairs look fresher and generally more cared for. Wrapped all but 3 presents whilst I caught up on It Takes Two on the iPlayer but just need to get a couple of bits more. My neck and shoulders are aching; J is home tonight so I'll see if I can get him to give me a shoulder massage as the muscles are really tight. Feeling really tired; let S sleep with me last night but he woke me at 5 wanting to read to me because he knows I like it !! Bless.

  • Hello,

Back from paid stuff, not in again until Thursday hooray, but it is to do decorating boo.
Just throwing some food together for us all, then back to school for dd2's evening performance of nativity at 5.30.
Plan tonight is daily stuff and present wrapping, plus flycards. Yikes

Hope all those feeling poorly feel better soon. We need some proper cold weather to kill the bugs. On my dog walks this week I have seen a flowering wild rose, a buttercup, and a tree with new buds. It isn't right.

    aww it was nice, ta
No tissues required - but was very cute. They had filmed children in class talking about xmas and DD and her friend said they liked snowballs, then pretended to roll snowballs and throw them at each other haha. She was a reindeer in the concert and was brought to the front with some percussion bits to make some clip-clip noises :)

They finished at 2.40 and older siblings were brought out too so we were home from school by 3pm.

We've had dinner, tidied up and set WM on. DS has read to me and they've made some more baubles. We'll be going to Beavers soon.

Tomorrow I want to pop to the household waste site, and maybe stop in at b&m for some goodies for the ballet thing on Saturday.

Other than that I need to wrap some presents!

Do you think if I ask Santa for a new body this year he would oblige? I am seriously sick of being ill now. Not only do I have this bloody virus, a really horrible cough where I have to hope that when I clean my teeth I don't throw up due to gagging, and now to top it off I have a bloody violent cold with the aches that go with it. I sneeze I throw up, I cough I throw up.. I'm going to just be walking around next and throwing up..

This is now the third year that I have had a disasterous start to Christmas - you would think someone up there would give me a break. Just one Christmas that is full of niceties and stuff..not people dieing, virus's and colds..

Sorry didn't mean to do a pity me post..I know some of you have so much more to contend with at the moment..

DH put up the Christmas lights etc outside and it is really starting to look a lot like Christmas outside..not inside though..lol

Well I have done the meat shopping for Christmas today, while in Costco.. The joints look really nice that I am sure we will enjoy them. I also treated us to 4 pink willow plates with a christmas design on that I found in Home Sense..plus a couple of other willow things to go with them. :D Am shattered now after walking around Costco and Home Sense.. Thank gods tomorrow is a quiet day, hopefully DH won't want to do too much with it being his last day of his holidays..

Need to do a major catch up with ironing, and a couple of washes.. Iwonder if I can borrow the tumble dryer from my best friend :p Although that would mean leaving the house..maybe not!!

Am up to date with the cards from everyone, they have all been put into the bags as they are delivered, so am organised with that..although that is mainly due to DH telling me what to do with it this year :D Will put up a list as to who's cards I have received tomorrow here and on FB.. I did have another three packages arrive this morning, after the four that arrived earlier this week :D
