Have been out most of the day shopping at our local shopping mall and almost completely finished - got everything for my family, it's only J's nephews/nieces that are outstanding. Will definitely start wrapping tomorrow as only got next week and then kids off plus next Saturday 19.12 is S's birthday so need to wrap them too!

Haven't done any flying apart from put yet another load of washing on so will give the bathrooms a quick S&S later on. Done a few things I have been putting off and it feels good to have them out of the way.

Been very bad as treated myself to a lovely M&S dressing gown today; it feels sooooo soft and gorgeous - would wear it now but I'd look odd wandering around the village I think when I pick up S after running club!

    Catch you later x

Marvellous news, CY. I'm so pleased for you.

Two rooms to turn around today, and the shower room needs a bit of a doing.

Thank you for your suggestions about the dog attacks. I've tried talking to the owner because the aggression is increasing, and this has been going on for five years. Most of my dogs have been on the receiving end of her dog's attentions but it's like trying to reason with lard. I've changed all of the dog walks I do with Kelpie so that they will not come into contact again and written up an account of the latest incident. The owner now seems to think that ignoring the behaviour when it occurs and taking the dog to some kind of retraining will change the behaviour judging by her reactions, so what is going to happen eventually is inevitable; I just don't want to be anywhere near it when it does. I feel sorry for the dog, really, but it's big, strong and out of control. Bad mix.

*Black dog be gone* vibes heading your way Narco, and everyone else who's had a visit from the beast lately, on a really sticky stick.

If talking to the owner hasn't worked you need a plan B. Have you photographed the injuries?

Have you taken Kelpie to the vet? I know it's expensive, but it might help to have an independent 3rd party see the injuries.

Have you reported the incidents to the police? Sadly you may have to in order to get something done. Sadly your dog may not be the only one to be affected.

Today is DD2's 22nd birthday. We are heading out for a celebration family meal tonight. Then home to hopefully catch most of the Apprentice.

Couldn't get on this morning, I'm only in now through Google as my iPad doesn't seem to want to connect directly, bit strange its updating emails and let's me google stuff but won't connect to the server if I try and do it direct. Only just got in from work.
Lugged football table onto front, it's being donated to school tonight, big mosaic kit got taken up this morning, I'm slowly clearing stuff out. Got a parcel to collect from post office tonight that came while I was at work yesterday. Got a load dry today, on line and airer so some more ironing for tomorrow night. I'm pairing sock mountain while blushing coffee at the mo.

Honeybear sorry i meant to say yesterday it's shocking that your poor dogs been attacked again.

Hugs to all that need them need to go and do something now to make house look a bit more loved.

    Hi everyone.

Back home - phew - busy couple of days but lots achieved, including officially putting my request in for VR. Got some great advice from a couple of managers (I hope!) and had a nice meal out with people from our department.

Home in time to collect littlies from school, quick tea and back out to the xmas disco, then an even quicker supper and off to bed with them. I'm just having a cuppa and I might go too, once I've sorted the elves. Think they might get in the fridge tonight and put googly eyes on everything...

We're all tired out here, and I feel very disorganised. I haven't wrapped anything - and I need to check where our lapland tickets are. Next two days I'm organising xmas!

Sorry to hear about the doggie trouble honey bear but it's lovley to see you posting again xxx

    Evening

    Long drive done.

Started to wrap SS(1)'s present up a hoody top thing he wants, and noticed that the sleve has not been stitched properly, so that can go back, and I'll get another one.............pain in the back side as it is 16 miles each way, in the opposite direction to my job 1. So that is tomorrow night taken care of.
