I'm really sorry I'm not posting, and I haven't caught up but I've subscribed so that might help.
Kelpie has been attacked again by the same dog as usual and I'm trying to deal with the situation as wisely as I can. I just want to go and beat the carp out of the owner and her bl00dy dog but I know I mustn't.Better is good enough.0 -
I have a fit note which means I can have a phased return to work.
I have also managed to get my prescription for my injections early, and I have a prescription for emergency antibiotics in case I need them over ChristmasI have also had my flu vaccine.
Just pottering for the rest of the day. I must have a go at sorting out the kitchen and unload the washing machine.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

That's awful - is the dog not muzzled? It should be if not ..... I'm not sure who you should report this to but if it's not the first time it's happened and there's no reasoning with this woman then maybe you should take it further. Sending hugs to you and your dog xFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Great stuff that you can have a phased return. Do you work full or part time? After my stroke I had to go in for an hour a day for the first week, then two, then three and so on until I was back to my normal hours.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Wow, fantastic news, its brilliant to think your life might be slowly getting back to normal.
I am home earlier than expected so going to go into town and post my ebay parcel and pick up something for tea. Then I will see if the dog wants to go for a walk and make a list so I can go to Li*l while DS2 is at footie practice tonight.
Pigpen shame you have to miss the nativity but yes I think any more lurgies are definitely not needed.
Right, I could quite happily sit here all afternoon but I need to get things done!0 -
Done meal plan, hoovered through downstairs, done a load of washing and sorted out some returns. Got 2 school runs tonight cos of after school clubHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

My hour at Knit & Natter took longer as I wanted to finish the section I was on and also I needed to see the minister at church and we ended up talking 45 mins!! Never mind. Back for lunch and since then picked up odds and ends I've seen lying around, put away dry washing and hung up the darks I did earlier and just spent 40 mins in the 'room of doom' (extension) very carefully going through J's stuff. If I had my way I'd get rid of loads but I promised not to do that. Things I knew for sure could go (broken pens/scraps of paper/various other gibble) I've flung, things I'm not sure about I've put in a plastic crate for him to look at and I've put all the magazines I know he wanted to keep like the New Scientist to one side. I'm scared if I do too much and get rid of too much he won't trust me so going very gently.
Going to vacuum now and then I think that is me done apart from the ironing which I'll probably do this evening now.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Hello ladies
Glad to hear you can start back at work CY, but don't overdo it x
Not much flying done but have managed to attend the dress rehearsal of Small's Christmas play, which was very funny. Back at 5pm for the real deal - DH should be on his way back from work so he can come too.
Paperwork done for insurance company and have started to catalogue the contents claim. Flood water ruins so much
Got a price and start date for the stone wall at the front of the house. About what we were expecting but still eye-wateringly high. Still waiting on an ETA for the caravan, but luckily it all still feels a bit of adventure camping upstairs. I am sick of takeaways though.0 -
CY that's great to hear. How long do the injections go on for? Are they still bruising badly?
piggers Ouch about the hips. Trust you to see the silver lining though. Sicky stay away vibes.
Mumof2 Glad you are making some progress. Hope J takes it well.
Honey Bear I post even less frequently than you. But back on a mission after the holiday.
Been flying off piste today - endless laundry, cleaning, drying and repairing dive kit before immediate storage (need everything away for access on Friday for blinds to be fitted. Yay.
Also low calorie cooking - DH has developed love handles  Since I've been dieting/exercising hard and not drinking I have had a bad habit of measuring out my portions and just giving him the rest. It shows! Will be measuring both our stuff now. Leftovers will be frozen/padded out for ANOTHER meal!
OK. Off to do shopping list for Mr W. Have a £6 off £50 voucher, and we need dog food (only one Oz will eat!). So I looked in for offers today and have planned some Xmas shopping. Needs to be timed carefully tomorrow so DH is going past in the car on the way to work so I can give him what I can't carry on the bus.
(((hugs))), spoons and sticks to those who need them.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0
