I'm in, if I can find the energy

Almost 5 weeks of a cough which is keeping me awake and exhausted, doc cannot find anything wrong with my chest so thinks it is a reaction to some meds I started 4 weeks ago. Now changed meds but cough is not subsiding   :angry:but mostly tired

Had the day off sick today and have spent it with BBC I-Player and a blanket, now want to go to bed but going to make myself stay up till 9, so that hopefully I sleep a little better.

Sorry to sound off when so many of you are going through your own carp,

Dizzy - I hope your insurance gets you moved into a rental property and that you are not in a hotel for Christmas and the New Year.

CY - good news on thinking about a phased return to work

Bossymoo - ouch to the abscess. I hope the anti-bs kick in soon

    Best wishes to all

    Bunny foo? Sounds rude! :rotfl:

All packed for morning and alarm set for some godawful hour. Showered and hair washed and clothes at the ready. Need to check travel sites again but everything looked pretty sorted earlier.

Just undressed a very sweaty DD - oddly she doesn't feel hot - anyway, cuddles given and she's back in bed now. Sounds like lots of us need fumigating :o

MIL is in charge here for the next few days so I'll catch up with you all later in the week.

Valli I know what it means so fine to use AFAIC. Hope AF settles down, don't send her my way.

Done a bit of stuff here and there. Be back tomorrow.

Just skimmed thread, hugs especially to Dizzy and hope no further flooding due. Glad things went well Mumof2.

Got back late afternoon from great long weekend break with friends and Mum. Ate too much but did go swimming twice, walk once along very windy beach, bowling twice and did various bits of dancing. Clip-on pony tail a great success.

This week will be playing catchup even more than usual.
Most cards written and will be posted tomorrow.
Anxiously awaiting flypresent I ordered so I can wrap and post it to recipient.
    Zumba tomorrow.
    1 student to see tomorrow.
A million reports to write so I need to do a survey of priority and get some estimate of time.
2 assessments to do this week to add to the reports.
House not looking bad as we've not been here, but doubtless knee deep in dust and webs, plus bags to unpack/wash stuff.

    Will be around.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.

I have batteries to change in timers (if I can find the batteries and teeny screwdrivers) and bedding to change today as well as looking at the list. All before the paid stuff as usual.

    Have a great day everyone.

Found the batteries etc, took less than 5 minutes. Been putting this off for ages.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Morning everyone

Ugh, I have something important on at work today and I slept really badly so now I feel tired and headachy instead of bright and raring to go. My boss will be the first to tell me that I look tired. Hot shower in a minute.

I rushed home from work yesterday because I was a bit worried about DS1 who was feeling poorly so I havent been to the shops and I dont think we have anything for tea. Not sure when I will be home so DH might have to sort that one out. He will be pleased about that.

Right better move myself, have a good Tuesday everyone x
