We've not got a humidifier, but things seem to be going really well anyway without it. It's taken a long time tofinally settle down with it, but I think that it was definitely worth the perseverance.

That is great news mrcow so glad thing's are improving for your oh.
I rang and left a message on answerphone at the sleepclinic, about an hour later the nurse rang me back after a quick chat she arranged for me to pick up a humidifier that afternoon. (isn't that great service). So far I've had 2 moist nights:eek: :rotfl: can't believe the difference it makes not being totally dehydrated in the morning.

    We're good thanks.

Machine is still working well, although b/f isn't driving still yet as we want to get an okay from the hospital first.

Hope everything is cool with you?!

    Thanks!

He was saying this morning that it's funny how quickly you can get used to things, like the machine.

    Happy Christmas everyone!

  • Hey all, happy Christmas! Hope you all had a great festive period and Santa brought you everything you wanted! :)

I've not really been using my machine for ages, naughty naughty I know. Currently getting over a cold and this cough is preventing me from using Bertha! Hope everyone else is getting on better than me!

Happy New Year to you all hope you had a lovely Xmas too (might just me but Xmas seems like ages ago?)
    So how are you all?
Your right Mrcow it is so funny how you get used to something (as bizarre) like CPAP, on Xmas day I'd had enough running around after everyone and went to bed early to read a book, fell asleep whilst I was reading and kept half waking up screaming/gasping for breath BUT not enough to wake up properly to put my mask on, it was an awful feeling like suffocating or something, luckily when my oh came up to bed he managed to wake me up properly.
Hope your feeling better now kittykirsty, not heard from you on here for a wee while.
And a:hello: to you BigMummaF (don't want to leave you out).
Hope you are all doing well All The Best for 2008  xXx V

Have to say that I notice the difference the next day if I've not used Brenda..Thought it was maybe the after effects of the sniffles, but when I 'forget' like you Vi I feel so listless & drained:o That's why I get it all going before I start reading;)

I'm also pleased to report that the waistline is slowly shrinking, so I'm hoping for a pat on the back when I next go for a check-up:D And I've also noticed I'm not having to use my asthma inhaler of a night-time:j

    How's everyone doing?
