Or in icecube trays. That is the only way I can think of.
Michelle wait until your brother gets some training and get him to fit you a new lockThey are pretty straight forward usually, if you're going to pay try a bodyshop/garage and see what they would charge CASH, I can guess that it'd be less than your excess and the addition to your insurance premium.
Just noticed my washer drawer is still in the sink, best go deal with thatforgot
trust my brother :rotfl: not untili have seen him do some work on something else 1st - he is only signing up for the course cos he thinks he will be loaded, and has failed to realise he will have to put the hours in to get anything back.
Failing him, BIL is a mechanic, and normally does work on our cars for just parts cost, but the downside is he normally has the car for at least a week around all his paid jobs, and then he runs around in it using up all my petrol - so basically you get it back when it is empty  and don't say anything cos it is cheaper than paying a garage.
Maybe an october 1/2 term job, or xmas when i can afford to be off the road for a few days.0 -
Ooooh I am in The Hall of SHAAAAAME!!!!
I have to share this with you lot because it is SO disgusting I made myself physically sick!!!
Today I found a smell in the back room.. where the pc is.. I cleared the sewing table.. and the smell seemed to get worse.. but as the day drew on the smell concentrated and hubby and DD1 were sniffing for it.. none of them could find it.. so I got out my sniffer.
I sniffed the carpet thinking maybe someone had spilled something.. no joy.
I hunted under the sofa in case there was a rotting corpse... no joy.
I searched behind the sofa.. found 12 beakers, 2 dishes and a plate.... but no smell.
THEN.. I started on the pc desk.. and I found the smell *shame*
It was a plastic container which has been on top of the printer since Saturday and it once contained... PRAWNS!!!!!!!!!!
OMG!! It was GROSS.. I was almost sick when I sniffed it, my stomach heaved and it was foul.
SO... I am todays dirty [EMAIL="t@rt"]t@rt[/EMAIL] who needs a slapping..

liuhut - I know what you mean about weetabix, I always used to say they should use it instead of superglue LOL I hate getting it off the floor if its dried up, you need a sandblaster or something . thankfully my kids have gone off it, now I end up with cheerios and rice crispies between my toes :rotfl:
sexymouse good luck for the trial shift at Zizzi, your sister put a word in for you then ?
lil_me - I keep meaning to ask, whats the occasion for the mother of barbeques tomrrow ?
I'm sat here watching the TOTP2 Police special,. its fab! I am a major Police fan and am GUTTED BEYOND BELIEF not to be able to see them on their current tour. Baby due and all that  It was a case of go before feeling massive and knackered and what if things started whilst there ?? Given that last labour was 2 hours I would be delivering in the car park  or else go afterwards, find someone to farm out kids and newborn to, with sore bits to sit on and leaky boobs :rotfl: Oh well. Would've costa bomb anyway. But I am still gutted.
Anyway I digress. Had an ok day but have had 3 arguments over the weekend with DH about - you guessed it - money. I said on Friday we needed to watch the pennies more than usual this month and its like a red rag to a bull, its like he then goes out of his way to spend it cos he doesn't like being told not to  I'velanded up bawling my eyes out each time, blaming it on the hormones
Anyway today's updated list :

- get hubby to paint shelves if paint turns up
- wonder if hubby would varnish radiator cabinet for me ??
[STRIKE]- get hubby to cut grass (he's going to hate me!)
- send hubby off to B&Q for loft boards that he wants, to shut him up . Its so not a priority for me LOL

[/STRIKE]- re-bark chip garden paths

[STRIKE]- tidy up weed ridden pots

Wouldve done the bark chips but the bags we had are a year old and one was so sggy t was practically rotten, and the other was basically one bib ant's nest, it was gross, full of eggs and everything. There is no way we can spread it on the paths, we would be infested. So hubby had to get some more at B&Q but we ran out of time to put it down.Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Morning All
So far I've vacuumed the living room and the settee and collected plastic bottles, cardboard, etc for recycling.
So today I want to finish today's list and maybe do some of yesterday's.
Go to library, tip for recycling, bank, get petrol (thanks for the reminder hollyh) and nip to Asda or the like for bread, etc.
Counted the money from money boxes/tubs on Sunday so £169 to be banked today - must update sig - I think I'll do that next.
Any thing that wasn't sold at the carboot yesterday is going to the charity shop so the shed is now fairly empty so hopefully I can move some of the things out of the conservatory into there and sort the conserrvatory out but that won't be a job for today - might wait till kids have gone back to school.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Good luck with the BBQ lil-me - and by the way thanks for mentioning those shelves from Morrissons - they were just what I needed and went and fetched some on Saturday - pretty sure it was you who bought them anyway.
Right going to do DS his breakfast and update sig.
Catch you later.

Morning all
Thanks for all the tips re my freezing beans - I do open freeze fruit and will try it with the beans - I just will have to do them in batches as they will soon fill a tray but I will give it a go.
Pigpen I found a yellow tuperware tub in the fridge which I thought had half an onion in but had half a lemon in it. As I openned it yesterday a mist of green mould came out (good job nobody has breathing problems in here) it was disgusting.
Starting the day catching up on a few mails which are creating a hotspot with the pile of relevant stuff then to the shower.
Lil-me hope the BBQ is funThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
