lil_me - hope barbie goes well, is the weather going to be on your side today?

7ww - well done with uni place, your just across the water from me oooh I miss edinburgh don't get over as much as I would like.

As yet I haven't managed to score off anything from my large post last night, but I have managed -
    • made beds
    • evening meal defrosting
    • washing hung outside
    • dw emptied
    • bathroom S&S
    • girls away to school
    • dog walked
    • soup made for lunches this week
    • daily clicks almost done
Off to finish my clicks and do one survey then its loud music and the lounge to tackle.

Just spent an hour doing the front garden. It's much hotter out than I previously thought! Still grey but humid. Anyway, got the front grass cut, did the edges properly with a spade and cut back some bushes which were overhanging the path and then swept and swept and swept :D

Looks better but [strike]I'm sweating like a pig[/strike] glowing like the lady I am ;)

Time for another coffee before I have to cook lunch.

Been to the post office, put washing machine on and taken DS1+2 to and from golf range.

Need a cuppa. Loosing 2 children from 2-4 so will do my flying then. DS1 can do a job then go on the playstation so I get some peace!

Not much flying done by me over the weekend. I have just caught up properly with the thread.

Happy birthday for last weekend tracy.
    Congratulations 7WW, Dr-to-be!
Sorry to hear your bad news, tinsel-fairy
Good luck with the barbecue lil-me

You have made me grimace with the talk of putting out flags when school starts again! I am the opposite, as a teacher. I shouted at DD about something very minor this morning, and once I had thought about it realised I am on edge because the thought of going back to work and leaving DD and DS is getting me down. I have worked out my home and work routines, the freezer has lots of frozen HM meals, the house is tidier (although I need to keep on top of it this week). I just don't want to leave them! Going back to a nasty situation at work doesn't help.
Sorry for the moan, I am feeling sorry for myself.
    Today I am going to
    • do the kitchen, and whatever I can manage of the living room.
    • make lots of dough in the BM and freeze it rolled out as pizza bases.
    • conquer the ironing pile.
    • enjoy my kids - this should be top priority I think!
I'll catch up with you all later.

Lunch time and I'm not getting anywhere fast  Mind you I did spend over an hour on the phone between my mum and then OH who phoned to ask what we needed to set up the other computer  Er, who's the computer technician in this house? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyways, about to call DD down to make & have her lunch (she likes doing it herself now :D ) and then I'm going to clear up the kitchen after lunch and tackle the livingroom - shouldn't take long :D

i've still done pretty much nothing. OH has been finalising details of our south africa trip (the charity he works for works out there and we're going out just after the wedding for a week of seeing projects and a week of holiday). all very exciting but it makes work seem mundane!

i have updated my finances which helps a bit, just going to PO to get money bags and cash and then will have lunch before 30 mins of paper clearing. think i'll need the timer to get me going. if anyone has seen my motivation please send it back to me!
