Not a bad day here - got on rather better with the Xmas shopping than I expected and spent less !

Then somebody turned up with payment for some work I did on an ad hoc basis - £260 :D - That puts us back closer to being on track for the month - even if he Did catch me in the kitchen and cost me a bottle of home made wine !

well done and mmmmm to the home made wine, where's ours? :D

I'll warn you Siouxsie, it's quite long, but slightly addictive reading too. However, if I had to estimate, I'd say my 2015 fleabay earnings were boosted by about a third due to inspiration from this thread, so might be useful to some here :)

I've posted about this thread before, it is a good read. And definitely worth having a look, it is suprising what sells!

thanks for bumping it up again, some inspiration for people in January :A

I got my haircut, DS doesn't like it as i have gone short again and he is used to me with long hair. I prefer it short though, less hassle to deal with in the morning!

oh I have referred a winner on luckyphone so good luck whoever it was, wherever it was, I posted in a few places. hope you claim it

5.23 refund from Asda for my online shopping. NO idea why, there was nothing out of stock, delivery wasn't late etc but sure enough the credit just hit the account so I'm adding it.

  • Just been reading through a few posts and it occurred to me that while everyone agrees that prolific academic is a fab site in terms of surveys and payment, the one point that repeatedly comes up is that people find it difficult to keep checking for surveys and end up missing a lot.

I know Aesop has mentioned the use of a notifier for those that leave their PC with certain browser open, but just wondered how useful some of us would find a new thread dedicated to notifying each other if we've spotted a new survey pop up?? It seems to work so well for things like Swag$ codes etc. I realise we won't all be eligible for every survey, but if more eyes are on the page, then it may make checking for them a bit more focussed on when there could be something available. Plus it's quite easy for most of us to receive an MSE thread notification during the day.

Thoughts lovely people?? I don't mind starting one if so :)

great idea. I am on a facebook group that do the same thing, post when a new survey pops up and what it is. We aren't all always eligible for all the same ones but it helps to go check, unfortunately for me only works if I am on facebook at the same time, otherwise i don't see notifications.

I get regular emails through phone so I could check there.

go ahead :) bring link back so everyone who is interested can subscribe.
