(Must take a look at those "Overdraft charges" next month !:rotfl:)
I didnt apply for them, just got a credit on my account daily :rotfl:
I will say though be careful how you word it to your bank, don't say about overdraft as they could refuse it. Talk about charges on your account and hardship. They refunded these without notifying me, I have had my charges back already, so this must have been an addiitonal thing.0 -
doing well on the posting front peeps. keep going.
am going to set up new thread as will be away for xmas and no internet except on phone, and not sure if are staying for a few more days past boxing day.0 -
well finally received ch£que from V(n£q*i) B)n(!!! only written last thursday when I called again!
for £364.44 so target smashed. still waiting on loads of others
and I managed to make my challenge of making £2015 in 2015. I made more than my signature but I missed out a few months so not sure of figure. This was additional to my scarce MS income as my main job.
Aesop, this is brilliant news:j. I couldn't be happier that things are working out so well for you at last especially as you're a constant tower of strength and inspiration to the rest of us:A
Saw your post yesterday afternoon but didn't have time to reply and with the current liveliness of the thread I had over 50 later posts to read before I found it again:rotfl:
Well done to everyone who is keeping the thread-count up:T:T:T
Not been around a lot myself, am extra busy at the moment, lots of extra work as part of the volunteer driver's group I'm involved with. Not a money-making spree for me though as we don't get paid, just get expenses paid to us calculated on so much per mile for the petrol plus car park fees if necessary and I don't count any of it for this challenge. So many of the old/housebound/infirm members are wanting to be taken to events, lunches or just shopping. They are having a much better social life than me;) but it's great to see them having so much fun:j. Parking's been a nightmare though in the towns I have to take them to as I can't do my own trick of parking in the first available free street space I can find and walking in, maybe miles:o. I need to drop them right at the door, escort them in, sometimes stay with them and help them if in shops, and pick them up at the door at the end. Even car parks in these small market towns are a long way from where anyone wants to be. Plus, the traffic wardens are out in force:mad:
Sorry, Aesop, I think you've already told us something about the bank refund in an earlier post but I've forgotten if you mentioned if it was for PPI or unfair charges:o. Haven't the time to trawl through to find it.
Have a good day, everyone:beer:0 -

thank you lovely. :A
the bank was bankcharges, that suddenly paid back overdraft charges?
the V* was CPP type claim that I said was missold.
I still am chasing them on PPI as they should have implemented it when I told them I had been made redundant and didn't. but now telling me no... but i will pursue that one, they are in the wrong here. big time.
still got C&p!ne ppi that they want to offer me £12.68 for :rotfl: and have a big fight with B%r*l7a9s about an old loan with ppi.
someone on facebook applied to their bank for bank charges to be turned down by the bank on the grounds that the account didnt exist.... where have we heard that one before?
got a call from a company saying no win no fee, this person said, what the heck i have nothing to lose, if you want to waste your time go ahead.... well they got a bank credit for £4xx.xx :rotfl this company managed to get the bank to find the missing account and pay up
so I may go down that route for the one who are giving me the run around... makes you wonder how much the total was if that was after fees....
so I would suggest anyone considering do it now as they are tightening up the rules and stopping a lot of reclaiming.0 -
by the way CPP I love the volunteering you do. It is so nice that you are making sure people are getting out and about and not stuck at home.
I wish the council would get rid of traffic wardens or at least see sense where the elderly are concerned.0 -
New thread up and running, got to get a wriggle on, being picked up at 1pm for DS' friends bowling party and have been sat here sorting out stuff. cannot wait to leave the weee people!! they don't have my phone registered! the one they gave me as a replacement when my phone wouldn't switch on! so wasted 13 days trying to get my phone unlocked !!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
