Just sent out the form for this month: both my H2B ISA and the regular saver cashed in my SO
I miss a bit those extra £1700 from my bank account: it's been a while since I last saw less than £2000 in it!GC £~~/3000 -
boglehead robbed a bank this month? Some of the figures seem quite random e.g. £15k target, £11k declared in Feb xD odds of meeting the target just shortened to 1/200

Checking in a few days before payday. Today will not be a good day for the 'Save £12k in 2016' challenge.
I was walking home from work last night and noticed a rip in my trousers, which is irritating because they belong to a suit that I've only had for less than a year. It's right in the fabric which is even more irritating because if it was on a seam I could have had them mended.
I wear a suit for work so I went into my wardrobe to pull another one out for today. Those that are not almost worn out I'm too fat for. So I had to go to TM Lewin today and buy another one. Spare pair of trousers for this one left me over £200 down all in. And I could do with another one.
I also booked myself onto a Spanish course because we're going to Spain in summer and I don't want to be one of those Brits abroad who can only ask for dos cervezas por favor. £183.
Bit of a rant, and I apologise for it. Hopefully it won't dent the grand plan too much :mad::mad:#145 Save £12k in 2016 Challenge: £12,062.62/£12,000.00 Beginning Balance: £5,027.78 CHALLENGE MET

Thanks SF for updating - me being in the amber category is pretty good! A good incentive to crack on next month in a similar vein

I've just submitted my update early too, £250 for April (which I think brings me beyond my half way point thanks to my bumper month last month). Not bad seeing as I had an expensive month after having to buy a new smartphone, because my old one packed up a week or so ago!£12k in 2019 #084 £3000/£3000
