#72 here checking in with £399.90 for this month. Not bad for over Christmas. Takes my 2016 total to £5550.56, not too far short of my £6k target.
It was always supposed to be a stretch, and given the major change in financial circumstances I had halfway through the year, pretty pleased to have come anywhere near my target.2018 wins: Aspinal of London jewellery box, Boudavida gym outfit, HP Pavilion laptop, The List party tickets, All Points East festival tickets, Kiehls moisturiser, By Terry cc serum, Nars Liquid Bronzer, Benefit highlighter, Nars illuminator, Fresh advanced lip trio set, Cetaphil sample set, signed copy of My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent0 -
Hi Everyone
Final post of 2016 - and reporting £1,631.31 for December. A bit less than expected, but we have got a couple of hols booked now for January and March, so still pretty good.
That gives a total saved in 2016 of £24,641.13 - 98.56% of a pretty challenging target - and a net savings rate of 67.23%.
And 33 months until FIRE.
See you on the 2017 thread.Save 12k in 2013-2014-2015-2016-2017-2018-2019-2020-2021-2022 - then early-retired.0 -
FINAL POST. My final figure is £8,000. I am very happy with that. £4,000 off what I was hoping for, but my circumstances changed, so not complaining. #1760

Congrats to all those who are still here in December and to all those who have completed/exceeded their target.
Huge thanks to slowly fading for the thread/updates. I have smashed my original target for this year and even exceeded my revised target. I am sure it is in large part down to the motivation that this challenge has given me.
I am declaring £3,181 for December so this brings me to a total of £11,615. I am amazed with this as I originally set my target for £6,000 and hoped I could manage that.
