£465 added to savings from end of June wages. Hoping to round that up to £500 by the end of the month. New total will be £3465 (or £3500 if I can make it to there).0

How was you calculating it before?
Just adding up the amount paid into my stocks and shares ISA and my 2 regular savers.
Now I have opened 5 more current accounts paying interest and 3 more regular savers which involves moving money between accounts a lot more rather than new savings. Now I just take the balances of all accounts and my s and s ISA which obviously moves up and down all the time then subtract credit card balance to get net figure for each month.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I did something I've never done before and withdrew dividend income from my S&S ISA (so that has boosted my current account balance by £307). That was made up of 4 dividends all paid in the end of May, [gotta love income paying stocks!].
Saved in May as below:
HTB - £200
Regular Saver - £500
Glad to say, another good month to report! £610.38 in total.
Applied for two internal jobs in London, both are at a company that is another company within the Group I work for. I really hope they materialize, the roles are far more interesting that what I do now, I want to move to London anyway (friends up there, better social life) and the salary is better.
I fear that the EU referendum will make them longer to respond, and worst case scenario they might scrap the roles altogether due to Brexit.. I really hope that isn't the case though..
Happy saving everyone! Some inspiring posts as always!

This is not true.
It was Peter Hargreaves, co-founder of HL who donated the money. It was not the firm who donated it, the firm publicly announced it had a neutral stance on the EU referendum."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett
