Stayed in, in the end. Weather awful and we were all busy doing things. On the plus side it became a NSD :)

Cheesecake became a twice backed cheesecake as I was worried it was too sloppy. Now think it might be over cooked. Oh well, enough rubbish stuff at work without worrying about an overcooked cheesecake :rotfl:

Managed to rearrange dining room and sorted a massive box out for recycling. Was very ruthless. Liberated some other stuff to and tidied a couple of areas that had bothered me for a while. 6 boxes to go in loft for better de cluttering.

Finally listed some items on fleabay last Sunday. 4 have sold (or will in next half an hour) not going to make me debt free overnight but every little helps :) will try and list some more over the next week.

Early night for me I think again. Will try and check in tomorrow but it's my long day so we'll see. :)
  • Hi all

Ally its understandable that you feel down. Be gentle on yourself.

Bought paint and tiles for the bathroom today. I have almost done my Christmas shopping and I need to be really sensible through December. I will need your help and encouragement with this!

LegoMum hope the boiler is easy and cheap to fix.

Going to put the washing over the airer in front of the fire before bed. Havent done a proper mealplan for the week so should do that now then settle down with my library book.
  • Hey :D
I've survived the day, and although I'm definitely not 100% (when am I ever?) I am doing ok.
Hugs to Ziggy and Ally, and Legomum - I hope the boiler repair is cheap or even free ;)

As I had a relaxing sort of day yesterday, today will be a bit busier...
[STRIKE]:p get kids to do their chores[/STRIKE] took complete blackmail but it's done.
    [STRIKE]:p tutoring[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:p get ds to his best friend's birthday party[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:p visit my mam and get a free feed and some quality time[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:p batch cook for next week[/STRIKE] home made chicken goujons, slow cooked beef and leek and bacon suet roll.
[STRIKE]:p finish marking test papers (URGENT)[/STRIKE] 3 hours
[STRIKE]:p kids bath/shower and ready for school tomorrow (3 weeks to go)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:p celebrate the fact that it is payday tomorrow![/STRIKE]

I have also done a load of washing; made a disastrous bunch of cake pops; hoovered through (again); minimised use of heating with my massive fleecy poncho and successfully ignored dh spending the entire day asleep :( Payday tomorrow and the end of term is almost in sight.

Ally sending positive thoughts and big hugs your way.

We have had a NS weekend. We have spent quiet a lot of it sorting out the house rearranging the furniture though out the house as our needs have changed. We have stuck to the meal plan which includes using up lots of stuff from the freezer, partly to save some money, partly to use stuff up and partly to make room for Christmas food. We visited family this evening to celebrate the first Sunday in Advent. Checked the bank accounts, all as should be. Educated children for free & entertained us all for free.
