  • Morning all :D
This is rather unbelievable, but I slept until 8am this morning :T - woken by my dd coming to see if I was ok as I hadn't been up and about yet. She thought something awful had happened to me :rotfl: Thing is, I never sleep until 8 so possibly I am getting ill, but as I feel ok at the moment I won't worry too much about it.
As I had a relaxing sort of day yesterday, today will be a bit busier...
:p get kids to do their chores
    :p tutoring
:p get ds to his best friend's birthday party
:p visit my mam and get a free feed and some quality time
:p batch cook for next week
:p finish marking test papers (URGENT)
:p kids bath/shower and ready for school tomorrow (3 weeks to go)
:p celebrate the fact that it is payday tomorrow!
That looks like a lot of stuff to fit into a single day, but I'm going to give it a go. Best get on then...

    Morning :)
Dreadful weather here today again :(
Not cold though, so no heating on :)

    List for today:
Used up a couple of leftover crumpets for breakfast
Try to get out for a walk with the dog if there is a break in the rain, being careful he doesn't have to swim across the deep puddles (he is only a few inches tall :rotfl:)
Remind OH to buy chicken food when he goes out - save me having to get my car out, as he is going past the farm suppliers anyway :)
    No other spends needed today
HM meals from stores - will use up some leeks and parsnips from the garden (though digging them up won't be pleasant)
Make a list of Christmas presents still to get (and birthday presents, as we have several family birthdays very soon before and after Christmas), Christmas food still needed and a Christmas card list (that is actually 3 lists then...)
Clean kitchen floor while OH is out
Any surveys that are available, plus check FPL
    Check banks etc
Go through at least one kitchen cupboard, and think about how to free up some worktop space
Steam second Christmas pudding (did one yesterday)

Right, better go and see if it is raining at the moment....

Hope you all have a good day :)

    Hi folks,

A teeny tiny list from me today as I have slept for most of the day - I don't know what is wrong with me but I think my batteries need recharging - not good as we are approaching year end so work is crazy busy ! I feel like I have been hit by a train !

    Today I have/will:
    • meals from stores
    • checked online banking - no change
    • read papers online
    • sleep, sleep and sleep
    • have a shower tonight so i can lie in tomorrow morning
    • need to make lunch for tomorrow for the same reason
    • watching bits n bobs on the sky box rather than go out

    Think that's my lot today

    Cheers all,

Felt 'flat' today. Just stayed asleep for most of the day. Got work tonight, but don't really feel like it.

    Good Evening

Ally - Big hugs, please know that we are here for you anytime

Hi to all of the regulars and a BIG welcome to all the newbies, this is a really FAB thread with so many lovely, caring, considerate and supportive people.

Not much done today at all, has been low spend and very low key. Visited one of DH's sisters and hubby, was lovely just sitting drinking tea and chatting. Feeling really low at mo, everything feeling a bit much - DH has to work afternoons this week :( , mum has her biopsy tomorrow, brother has more tests and xrays this week before starting his chemo and there just seems so much sadness all round :(

    Chased "charity" about donations
    Bumped all sale listings/freecycle/facebook
    Checked Banks
    Continuing purge on Emails
    Continuing decluttering -
    Entered a few comps
    All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
Check https://www.freepostcodelottery.com - Remember there are now 5 chances to win
    Checked Lucky Phone

    Love to you all!

Ziggy, you have so many stresses around you at the minute, big hugs

Ally, I hope that you are feeling better for work.

    Maria, your day sounds nice!

Candy, hope you are feeling better, you must have needed your sleep.

Chocolate lover, thank you & I hope the diy went well!

Plumber is coming tomorrow between 3-6pm so hopefully we'll get sorted. Another cost (on top of tyres/brake pads) that we could have done without before Christmas but no choice.

Today's been spent wrapped in blankets & drinking lots of tea whilst waiting for my father, niece & ds1 to have there Karate grading this afternoon. All passed and now purple belts which is great. THey are all looking forward to having a break now as that was the last karate now until 4/1/2016t! omg where has this last year gone!!

Not many small things done today but I did make a crumble using the last of the blackberries from the freezer (which also had some parts of pears/apples/bits from OJ that my ds2 needed sieving out of juice a couple of weeks ago!) It was so lovely, I can't believe that I've never picked blackberries with the kids before this summer! Will definitely be doing it again next year.

Hope everyone has a lovely evening.
