Morning all

Not sure if that was an early start CCL, or a late one  but thanks anyway!
Weird weather here, there was ice on the top of the chicken house when I went out there this morning, but now the sky has gone really black
Anyway, today's list:
Dog walks x 2 #1 done, didn't get wet
Post letters / postal survey item
HM meals from stores, leftover macaroni cheese for lunch and meatballs and tomato sauce for dinner. I will make a crumble too
Keep freezer and larder inventories updated - I typed them up and keep the files on the desktop of my PC, instead of printing them out and pinning / sticking on doors, and I am finding this much easier to manage
I have deleted the things I have taken out for dinner today
Any surveys that are available, plus check FPL
Might try again to do a bit of Christmas shopping in town - I wasn't feeling the love yesterday
Dry washing, probably on the airer judging by what the weather looks like outside
Well, it is still not raining, and the clothes are blowing on the line at the moment
Just checked Quidco and discovered that I have over £51 ready to withdraw. That will come in handy towards the Christmas shopping
(when I eventually get to do any
)
Right, there is probably more, but I want to get dog walk #1 out of the way before it pours down with rain - if it is raining hard, he won't walk; he also won't wear his coat (can't possibly walk in that!) and just stands there looking like a pathetic RSPCA case :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a good day

Hi,
Thanks for the start Bob.
Things have been a bit bumpy at Dowd Towers. I'm awaiting some more medical tests. There's something wrong with my bone marrow. Need more tests to see whether I have just had a serious infection, which can cause the body to make more platelets, or whether it's a resurgence of the cancer I had years ago. Oh well, que sera sera...:o I'm too busy to get sick.
Worked a 55 hour week this week. Gave running a miss today, there's a storm going on out there.
Debt-Free Nillionaire Month 6:
* Bought some nice Polish cherry liquer online at a good price.
* Spend entertainment budget wisely. Tapas at local bar.
* OH is going to dig out the Decemberfest decorations. Lots of pinecones to dust.
* Still can't decide what gift I'd like for Decemberfest. I don't really need anything other than good health. I still have to find the camera OH wants at a good price.
* Bit of houseowrk. Wonder how little I can get away with?!
Have a good day everyone.

Bob I used Mr S nappies on both mine from first size and found them perfectly adequate. Both girls too - know it sounds odd but think it is different for different sexes

Other option is to look on Amazon. Until recently I was buying big boxes of pampers (albeit much larger size) for £10, which was even less than the price of supermarket ones.

Jonno
Thanks Jonno. I have just been and bought a £1.40 for 20 basics nappies. It says it fits from over 11 pounds. Not sure what DD is yet as HV due on thursday. Anyway the amount of issues we've had already with P3mpers which cost triple I am willing to risk it. If these are no good I will then try Little Ones which are the next brand up. But thank so much for the amazon tip. Wouldn't have thought of looking online." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hello all, thanks for starting CCL
Hope the results are ok Ally
I was up at 8am to take poochy out but then went back to sleep which was lovely. Poochy has been a bit distressed as she had hiccups all night bless her.
I need to pop into town to pick up a couple of Christmas presents then I'll get wrapping this afternoon - I brought presents back from work last night and they're currently hiding in the boot of the car!
We'll probably put off going to Aldi until tomorrow. I ordered a slim 6.5 foot Christmas tree from Mr T for £15 today which will be ready to pick up next Saturday. It had good reviews so fingers crossed!
We had friends around last night and OH bought a pizza from the pizza counter at Mr S which they got wrong so we ended up getting one free! I'll be having some for lunch today (luckily I like cold pizza!)
Banking/ surveys/ managing money course to do. FPL done
Planning on a quiet weekend and catching up on the housework. My really busy period at work ended yesterday so I'm looking forward to catching up with things and winding down over the next 3 weeks

Oh gosh I am such an idiot. The nappies were for 11kg or 22pounds up not 11 pounds
the nappies are like a full body stocking on her and she'd better not try to sneak up on anyone in those! " Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
