  • CCL nice to see you back and glad you had a lovely Christmas :).so thoughtful of your children bless them. Glad to her your hubby is on the mend.

Calling yes they are meant to but with her med's she has them in something that beeps when to take them so they manually put them in there for her ( if that makes sense) they are terrible there though. She forgets things (lasting affect of the strokes) and they treat her like carp. They have spoken down to her and basically said she was lying and that they were in there. I think it is negligence. Many a times weve gone to collect it and they've not had it ready :/

    Good morning All

So glad you had a good break away CCL and your husband is on the mend.

Today is big budget day. Have been merrily moving cash around.

I am now £130/£225 to hit my stretch target and also stay on track for a debt free xmas 2016. I plan to re start project selling my husbands comic collection which stalled due to the baby arriving. We have had success selling various of them but it's proving a real slog as he has literally hundreds. But there is definately £95 worth in there and more for sure but only if someone buys them.

I also took the first step towards my goal of more time off and stashed £10 into our online account. I can't really afford to save for a holiday on top of debt repayments but the odd £10 will add up at some point which the power of PAD has shown me.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to Miss Tara for running Decembers challenge. It was very thought provoking.

CCL - glad you enjoyed your holiday. I really hope your DH continues to improve.

Yesterday I spent money. I bought 3 plastic storage boxes with lids so I could re-organise some cupboards, they were £6 for all 3 and have made a huge difference. It was a well thought out and planned spend and I'm happy with it. I also went to collect my 1/2 price sale order from Boots, it included 4 gifts for other people for throughout the year, 3 items for our own kitchen, 2 of which I have been wanting for ages, a perfume gift set for me and a mens one for DH.

Thank you misstara for running this months challenge.

Thanks Mistara for running the challenge in the most hectic month of the year.

Have a wonderful and safe New Years Eve tonight everyone. I will be staying in, never been a fan of drunk people slobbering all over you :rotfl:

Bunny has been bouncing around the garden and following me into the house, still hasn't ate a great deal. Tucked up with his hot water bottle now.

£5.00 to my debts today, off to fight in the supermarket in a bit, need potatoes, parsnips....... To feed my brood on Saturday.

See you in the New Year x

ccl glad your hubby could be home for Christmas and your break away.

calling It does look like we are still racing to the finish

Today has been a spendy day. I did the food shopping and bought a gift for a friend's baby that is due this month. I also treated my car to a go through the car wash as it was filthy and looks much better :) I have also sold another item via gumtr33, so that's 3 this week and £20 for items I don't use :) I was treated to lunch out by my mum and dad and had s little trip out with them which was lovely.

    Today I am grateful for:
    1.) my family
    2.) making some money
3.) the company of my dogs
