The number of times this has happened to their customers has convinced me that this is mobileshop policy. They are trying to hold onto to our money for upto an extra month if they can(even after the huge 60 days). I guess they see it as a 0% loan.:mad:0

just checked my email about my second claim. It said to confirm cashback to click on the link, then it offered me Argos vouchers (£5 more than cashback amount) or a portable DVD player, or keep cashback. BUT you had to click on one of these options! So i have chosen the cashback and then it said are you sure, i said yes then it said:
Thank you my name here,
You have been sent an e-mail confirming your Cash Back Swap.
To Confirm:
Your Cash Back Voucher No: ****** to the value of £105.00 has not been exchanged for something better.
You will receive your Cash Back within 60 days delivered to your home address. "
Why are they not going to pay directly into account, I guess this means another 78 day wait for the money : (are you sitting comfortably?, then I'll begin.....

Based on my experience with mobileshop I would say STAY AWAY!
I got an 18 month contract back in November 2006 and to date I have not recieved one pence, nor a letter of any explanation of any delay. Their online cashback tracking tool confirms the reciept of my cash back claims (the first being 15FEB07).
I wrote to them asking for immediate payment or an explanation why they haven't paid. It obviously fell on deaf ears as it has been three months since I wrote to them.
What is my re-course as they have not honoured our agreement?0 -
Send letter, registered delivery, demanding payment of outstanding cashback (as per terms and conditions) within 7 days. State that if the monies aren't received in that time you will be taking them to court for the shortfall and that you will also be claiming for costs. You can file your claim online at https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk
Should do the trick.0
