My bill/statement says Tariff Name: Simple and MSM August

So is that the same as MSE Collective Switch tariff ?

Still no reply from MSE. Assuming no reply in a few more business days, what next?

I was surprised it was offered. But there was nothing to say it wasn't for existing customers and, having explained the full situation to MSE/CEC they've chased payment and not said I wasn't eligible.

But now Avro have stated they never pay an intro fee.

What Avro says means little, it appears, but the idea that your current supplier pays you for reducing his profit is somewhat far-fetched. :)

    That's an MSM - MoneySuperMarket - tariff.

The Avro MSE/CEC collective switch tariff is Simple and MSE Collective

I'm not surprised - you're contacting the wrong people.

If that is true then it looks like Avro have screwed up on the tariff.

[Edit] And if it's still showing as in progress then it suggests Avro haven't confirmed it to MSE.

Yep, so I'm right to contact MSE?

I've taken screenshots of everything too
  • Am quite a lot in credit and they won't refund me, I've been lied to 4 times now that I'll get it tomorrow, by the end of the week etc. They totally miscalculated by usage even though I give monthly meter readings. Any tips on how to get my money?

How much is "quite a lot" in term of your actual usage cost?
You could just leave, and they should eventually refund everything they owe you, but that could take a while.

If you want to make a formal complaint, do it in writing (not by phone, but email will do), headed COMPLAINT and keep a record of what is said. The advice on their statements regarding complaints ends:
If, after 8 weeks you are still
dissatisfied you may then approach the
    Energy Ombudsman on 0330 440 1624
    or www.ombudsmanservices.org/energy

Even though I've complained via Resolver, the responses Avro have given are lies. They are a shambles, to say the least.

Thanks, just done Resolver...it's £400 which at the end of winter is a lot to me!
