I used the https://my.avroenergy.co.uk/sign-in link given in the email.Anyanka1 said:Wrongplanet, you need to use the administators' link (as I found today) not the old Avro one.
[Edit] Just used it again and this time eventually managed to enter my readings.

It will work eventually - I had to do a reload and several go backs before I managed to enter both readings. TBH I'm surprised the website hasn't collapsed.mikeyorkie10 said:...no the email link just took me to the standard myAvro login page. Yes, I saw that tariff earlier. It's going to cost me an extra £350 per year compared with Avro.youravinalarrrf said:Check here https://octopus.energy/avro/ last updated 17.30pm Sunday 26 Sept it mentions their "Flexible Octopus" tariff quite a way down which actually refers to their Flexible Octopus October 2021 v1 tariff which you can find listed here https://octopus.energy/tariffs/ with prices. Use the filters to narrow down the search.Initially a £350 projected extra per annum- but who knows where it goes during the period where you would have been fixed but are now variable?£270 here.0

If the tariff is capped, and is priced close to the cap, then it is effectively fixed until April.

BUT the cap is NOT sacrosanct.

Within mass email tools they stagger large sends to save issues of spam filters considering x email address or domain as spam. It can still happen mind, which is where...Anyanka1 said:
Of course it does; that hardly addresses my question, does it?masonic said:It takes time to email 580,000 customers.
...you may find that some companies use a similar, but not the same domain as their website domain. This then protects the reputation of the actual one they wish to use. If you look at the email it is not their true domain.
Source: Work in the digital marketing world so have been involved in, continue to do mass emails and spam filtering/reputation of domain is a big factor in list segmentation.0

Well I have managed to login this morning and eventually enter my readings. Logging in again and the new readings are not shown? Wonder if there’s a refresh lag??0

I don't see the point. As far as i can see, any readings you supply, would be checked by the mysterious 'third party organisation' often referred to on here for validity. What's the difference between trying to submit them to AVRO, (which i have tried myself, unsuccessfully to do several times lately after an email from them asking me to do so) and submitting them to Octopus when your account with them is created?0
