I was with Bulb before I joined the Ponzi scheme (Avro) and I liked them, straightforward billing, able to self-adjust DD and prices competitive. IF they can survive and I hope they do I will probably go back to them, I'm certainly not staying with the SoLR that Avro customers are going to, BG (If the rumours are to be believed)0

Over time I`ve been with some of the main contenders and out of them I found EDF to best the best regarding billing and contact.
It`s hard to see where or when anyone can move to off the SVR.0 -
It seems that SVTs are becoming a bit of a rarity and could stay that way until next April when the next review is due.

I have the opposite problem . I switched away from avro and still waiting for final statement and a refund of about £200 credit (all online statements on the website ) .
Edit : using this link https://assets.avroenergy.co.uk/default.aspx I can see a final statement however not got the credit back yet . Will be interesting to see what will happen0 -
Don't know how long it might take but that should eventually be refunded by the SoLR.

I just got an email asking for meter readings to create a September bill. Is that just the systems still working in the background?0

From what people have said on here, you will be billed at your Avro rate until 22-9-21 (the day Avro went under) and from that date the SoLR tariff rate.
The only way they can assess what your meter read on the 22-9-21 is to estimate it.
OK saying take a photo of your meter but will they take any notice and can you proove it was taken on 22-9-21.
Personally I would and will ignore the email.
If you`ve been putting in regular reading in the past, their estimate shouldn`t be far ou anyway.0 -
There's nothing stopping anyone entering meter readings for the 22nd September on Avro's system assuming you've taken them.I stand to be corrected but my understanding of the billing aspect from the 22nd September is slightly different to yours.I would have thought you should eventually be billed by the SOLR at your contracted Avro's rates for the energy you use from the 22nd September up until whenever the SOLR offically takes over, requests meter readings and the new SOLR account is setup. The new SOLR rates should be be charged from the date they officially take over and set up your account. At the moment we are in limbo and don't have an agreed contract with whoever the SOLR will be and even when we finally get a contract it will be a deemed contract.0
