DerwentMailman said:Anyone not seeing latest DD payment credited to their account? Mine went out on the 25th Feb but yet to show on my account. The first payment took a couple of days before I saw it in the account but has now been 4 working days since this second one went out. I don't want to see month 1 statement (due to be calculated on 3rd March) being as inaccurate as it might be. Knock on effects re DD increases etc if this first bill shows a debit balance!

Finally, Ofgem have jumped on the likes of Avro who change your tariff whilst you are waiting to switch within the switching window.Under Ofgem rules, a customer’s existing tariff price should be honoured during the switching process, which can take 18 days on average for gas, and 16 days on average for electricity. But Ofgem found 18 suppliers - including British Gas, EDF, Eon, Npower, Scottish Power, and SSE - had incorrectly charged switchers an additional £7.2 million between 2013 and 2020.

Wonder if I should re-open the complaint they refused to honour when they overcharged me a few pounds by doing just that when I left them a few years back? Some of that £7.2 million is mine!

victor2 said:Avro isn't listed as one of firms giving refunds. But might be worth rocking their boat if I can dig out their old reply to my complaint, just for the hell of it!Might be handy if you've still got the relevant statement too.Avro weren't listed as one of the suppliers who have agreed to pay refunds but the Ofgem decision does establish the general principle.

Is it just me or is Avro's website crashing and inaccessible this morning,I can not get in to meter readings even when the website does show up.When i go to meter readings it tries then comes up with a blank screen and says "An unexpected error has occurred"0

It did play up for me earlier this morning but after a couple of attempts, I was able to get done what I visited for - download statements.0

Been with Avro for 6 weeks the first bill was just over £40. around £9 cheaper than my old supplier this month. Although they take 5 days to produce the bill from the date of the bill this means I can put my meter reading in early on the morning around 03:00 and the bill is worked out on those readings.
I expect the yearly saving to be around £70 as I overestimated the usage in case of severe weather in winter so the extra usage would be taken by the gas as I overestimated by 20% on the electric and 13% on the gas still my monthly payment is £20 less than I was paying the old supplier, who used to rate the usage on the type of building and bedrooms.Someone please tell me what money is0
