  • Is Avros simple and superfixed tariff still the cheapest they have got?

polymaff, my DD was reduced by £2, not sure why as everything is the same.
I guess that they've got a better idea - they think - of our annual consumptions.
If this was the greatest of life's current challenges - I'd be ecstatic... ;)

On Avro's website, in the About Us page, they use the word simplistic incorrectly twice...
Spotted that some time back and I'm pretty certain I pointed it out somewhere. It's one of my pet hates, along with momentarily.

That depends on your own particular circumstances. Probably the best way to find out is to get a quote on their site - don't log in - and they usually present you with the cheapest (for you).

On Avro's website, in the About Us page, they use the word simplistic incorrectly twice.  Simplistic means OVER simplified, ie it's a negative word.
Just another example of people using £5 words when they've only a 50p vocabulary.  Truism, incredible, I could go on... :)

Completely agree;...it's absolutely outrageous. OFGEM should revoke their licence with immediate effect.

I was just joining in!  :D
  • I have been with Avro for over 2 years now and have not had a problem. Last month I received an email from them to say that there was a cheaper tariff available than the one I was on. I just replied to the email and everything was set up for me. The saving will work out at around £96 per annum but as a pensioner that is good news for me, I am one happy customer.

Not to put a dampener on your good fortune but I hope you checked-out the savings for yourself rather than relying on any promises/estimates from Avro.
In the past, I have had some misleading "savings" offered by suppliers and have learned to check for myself before doing anything.
