Spotted that some time back and I'm pretty certain I pointed it out somewhere. It's one of my pet hates, along with momentarily.notional said:On Avro's website, in the About Us page, they use the word simplistic incorrectly twice...

That depends on your own particular circumstances. Probably the best way to find out is to get a quote on their site - don't log in - and they usually present you with the cheapest (for you).onlyfoolsandparking said:Is Avros simple and superfixed tariff still the cheapest they have got?

Just another example of people using £5 words when they've only a 50p vocabulary. Truism, incredible, I could go on...notional said:On Avro's website, in the About Us page, they use the word simplistic incorrectly twice. Simplistic means OVER simplified, ie it's a negative word.
Completely agree;...it's absolutely outrageous. OFGEM should revoke their licence with immediate effect.

I have been with Avro for over 2 years now and have not had a problem. Last month I received an email from them to say that there was a cheaper tariff available than the one I was on. I just replied to the email and everything was set up for me. The saving will work out at around £96 per annum but as a pensioner that is good news for me, I am one happy customer.0
