From Avro's About Us page:We are a new energy supplier proposing a simplistic offering for home energy supply.
That could be the problem.

I really do not understand your problem with this.It seems to me that nothing could be more definitive than "You will not incur any exit fees if you were to renew your tariff or even if you were to switch away. . ."In the unlikely event that Avro does charge an exit fee then include the quoted email from them as the basis of the complaint which you will make in that event.
Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

We've just switched to Avro from Utility Point (who haven't even noticed or emailed us yet such as they are) and we still can't submit meter readings online because of an error on the link. We have to call up instead the old fashioned way. Not a good first impression.0

I really do not understand your problem with this.Problem here is the use of the word 'simplistic'. Look up what it really means.Consumerist said:In the unlikely event that Avro does charge an exit fee then include the quoted email from them as the basis of the complaint which you will make in that event.0 -

This is the second time I`ve been with them after a spell with SP and I`ve got no complaints whatsoever.
I went back to them last July and have switched to three different tariffs with them since and there are no penalties for an internal switch even on a fixed rate tariff.
Incidentally the switch is done instantly in your online "my account" with an email follow up within seconds.
Would and have recommended Avro.2 -

So I replied asking if as this was less than 50 days away would I incur the £60 exit penalty if I switched to their current Simple and Superflow tariff....That was on the 5th. Today (11th) I get a reply. Starts off well:"My apologises [sic] for the delay in getting back to you."Despite my asking "If I switch to the current Simple and Superflow tariff now will I incur
the £60 exit penalty?" they've failed to answer or probably understand the question:"You will not incur any exit fees if you were to renew your tariff or even if you were to switch away.
Your current tariff 'Simple and MSE Collective_ is due to end on the 18/03/20."There's nothing about switching tariff now incurring the exit penalty as I asked.0 -
I've thanked them for confirming there will be no exit penalty if I switch before the end of my current tariff and switched.Consumerist said:In the unlikely event that Avro does charge an exit fee then include the quoted email from them as the basis of the complaint which you will make in that event.

Have been an Avro customer for almost 2 years and it has worked well however moved to Igloo 2 months ago and Avro have stalled and responded at snails pace to confirm final bill ( took exactly 42 days - the max allowed) and have been waiting almost another 2weeks for them to return a significant credit balance (I can transfer within 2 hours - why can’t Avro)
very disappointing service and impossible to speak to them in person - I wonder if they are struggling?0 -

Avro’s Simple&Supefixed tariff is now showing in Citizens Advice price comparison tables.
Still a no-show on the CEC comparison tables though,...for my post-code anyway.
