  • My dryer was bought in April 2015. The engineer came today and made the modification to make it safe. He also noticed that the heater was not working properly and we are now without a dryer until a new heater is fitted. After the engineer left we noticed that had made a large dent is the side of the dryer. We will be entitled to a new dryer due to this?

Anyone know whether they need to get to the back of the machine to do the amendment or whether they can just take the front panel off? My machine is fitted on a worksurface in an alcove and could be awkward to get down again.

Heard nothing since I had an email notification that someone would be in touch and that was several weeks ago.

I also had to guess how long I had had the machine .

I've had no contact (apart from the auto-email) after a few weeks.
  • Was contacted on Wednesday and now have an appointment booked for the 22nd Dec.

Was also offered the 24th but declined as too close to Xmas.

They need to get at the back of my machine and install some parts to keep the fluff off the element.
