Still waiting for those pics Piggers.
Glad you had a good birthday Ionafan.
Well, I'm just doing a meal plan so I can send a shopping list to DH to get on his way home from the paid stuff today. I am off shopping with DD to a big shopping centre - my idea of hell really, so wish me luck!
I will do stuff tomorrow, promise.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Phew! Just catching up on everyone's news - was a very busy day yesterday for me, so no chance to post.
Pigpen - why don't you sell the fireplace? That way you'll have got rid of it and made your ex "pay". At my last house we had a Portland stone hearth and surround that I hated. I think we got £125 for it...
Mumof5 - hugs to you - sounds like you're going through the mill. I managed to rip an entire bumper of a car in a car park once :eek:so you have my sympathies. Hope the oil disaster has been sorted too. Have you got a steam cleaner? That should cut through the grease if you use a little bit of detergent too (with luck)
Happy belated birthday wishes Ionafan - hope you had a lovely day xxx
Just laying in bed waiting for everyone to start squawking, then there's a list as long as my arm...sorry if I missed anyone, but will catch up with you ladies later xxx0 -
Morning all
Bright and cold here so outside jobs will be on the cards for this morning after I've dried the inside of the windows though.
Mumto5 big hugs, sounds like an awful day.
Mogs fed, just finishing my cuppa and then hi ho hi ho it's off to fly I go.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all.
A beautiful but cold start to the day here. The blackbirds were up early, gorging on the cotoneaster berries and the crab apples on next door's tree before it was fully light. We saw a glorious sunrise as I took DH to the station
DS1 is bring DGD1+2 here any minute now for breakfast, so it's a going to be a proper partyI have S&S'd the kitchen and bathroom - doubt that I'll have time for any more flying later.
Hope everyone has a good day. (((Hugs))), spoons and sticks where needed. Catch up later x0 -
Morning everyone
Pigpen I will post a picture of my bathroom if I can remember how to do it. That will make you feel better. And yeah could you not fleabay the fireplace??
Plenty to do here. Need to update my finances/work out my December budget. If OH has finished working in the bathroom for now I might go in there and clean it up as best I can. Plumber not coming until 14th December.
Need to work out how many Christmas cards I have - not that I send that many. I have got to ferry DS2 about later so its a good chance to do any shopping that needs to be done. Then there are mealplannings/shopping lists, washing to sort etc etc.
Have a good Saturday everyone!0 -
