    Morning all
Got the tree down, from attic but not decorated it yet, took spa tree and excess lights to mils as shed lost her tree.
Going to do some decorating hopefully today, and some cross stitch, and hopefully watch a DVD.
CS run yesterday was successful loads went but just found another box full that got missed so another run probably earmarked for next week.

Hugs to all that need them
LW I agree copy the info from the forms so you know/remember what was said. Hope it all gets sorted without too much stress.
Ended up being a bit busy in a nice way yesterday, ds1 was doing a charity gig for a young persons cancer charity (Edgar's gift) so we went down to watch his set and throw some money in the pots. Then last night he was asked to be support act for a friends band so w out till early hours, we went to dd1s to watch the Klitchco fight, I thought Klitchco would win but he just didn't seem to have a fight in him so fury brought the belts home. Dd1s partner won £50 as he'd bet on fury.

    Sounds productive kazw x

I've sorted the DR pile into a charity bag and stuff to take to the sorting site. Rain stopped temporarily so DS and I put the outside lights up - they do look nice :) I've set the timer and they can be switched on for Tuesday :)
Also tidied the garage and sorted my desk so it's all neat in there. Feeling very organised - I've written in my planner for the next 2 weeks!

I'm just having some brekki  yes it's nearly noon :rotfl:

I better put the chicken in, too!

Lamewolf - just a reminder to keep a copy of everything you have put on the form.
Thanks - don't worry, it's Standard Operating Procedure here to scan all official stuff before sending it off.
That's just been done, and it's ready to go in the post now.

Aww good luck with the pip stuff LW x all sounds highly stressful :(
It's horrid; and very difficult at the best of times, because one tries not to focus on all the stuff that's wrong, but just get on with it. Thinking about it all in the way one has to for these forms is like whistling for the Black Dog to come running!
And when you've been using an "aid" for years and years, you stop thinking of it as an aid as such, it's just a bit of the household equipment.

I've done nothing productive since the dratted thing arrived, except for looking after Jasper's needs. I'm a Bad Flylady!

Oh Bossy I am very proactive today, I'm on a roll.

Any way I won't bore you all with loads of daily stuff I have now caught up on.

Shopping is done ,as per the list.
    Shopping is away
    Wrap up ebay parcels.
Got tree and decs out of loft, just cheked the lights and they seem to work, dumped a couple damaged babbles.
Put more food out for the birds, there are currently 4 blue tits on one feeder hanging on for dear life as it is currently really windy here.
Cleaned car head / rear lights, so I can see where I am driving on these dark morning / evenings, topped up water bottle as well.

Make chicken curry for lunch today...

Swept leaves out of garage, but I am sure they will be back in a day or so.

    LW - huge hugs.

Semi productive day so far here. I've changed my bed, DD has stripped hers, I've had a shower, charged my phone, printed out a copy of the play DD needs for homework, WM has been on a quick clean cycle and the second load of actual washing is in. Just another 6 to go!

I'm just sitting down with a coffee while I find something I want for Christmas to send to my dad via email. I'm also snuggling with the dog who is not liking the high winds and is laying here with his head on my lap, his tail right under him and no interest at all in playing even with his favourite toy. I'm going to carry on nibbling away at the shredding for a few minutes every 30ish minutes (I have my kitchen timer set up :rotfl:). Any additional flying will be a bonus.

    Keep safe all

Hello fellow flyladies. Very windy here too, we have lost a whole side of fencing which makes keeping the dogs in the garden quite interesting. DH has done the best he can till he has a day off mid week and can look at it properly. On a plus note, the fact that he doesn't want to go outside again means he won't be getting the ladder out of the shed to get the Xmas tree down from the loft. I thought it was too early anyway.

Except that this has been a very Xmassy weekend. 10 hours shopping with DD yesterday in York, and I'm just about to complete my shopping on line.

    Flying wise:

I've kept up with the dishes
2nd of four washloads is in the machine
Dogs are bathed (but most definitely not walked today)

I hope everyone is having a great day.

  • Folded and put away a load of non iron stuff, made stuffed butternut squashes for dinner, tree up but not decorated. Ds1 is horrified and warned me an elf will die for every deccy place before dec1st.:eek:might hold off till Tuesday for the baubles
Did a bit of frog work and got an electrician booked to put us an outside socket up (for extra fairy lights, I've always wanted outdoor ones)
Anyway food is almost cooked and dd2 plus family are here So better get dished up.

Lol, mrs mp I saw on FB that an elf drowns a baby reindeer for every tree that goes up before December:eek:

Dinner made and scoffed, kiddies are making lego cakes now, apparently its my birthday:D

Battening down the hatches here too - trees out the back are swaying wildly!

Still need to dust and vac my bedroom and make my bed. Homework is done.

Am I the only one saving those poor little elves and reindeer haha? Still no flying done as such. I have been filling in next year's calendar that I bought yesterday, hope nothing expires because of that.

I have very optimistically put in OldDogs booster date.

Anyway, about to put final washload in machine and do my nails.

Quite a successful shop on Fri eve, used voucher for carvery on the way home and our bill came to just over £7 so can't complain!
Most of this weekend has involved some combination of me writing reports, writing Xmas cards, both of us sorting out conservatory ready for new vinyl flooring and writing lists.
    Various bits of washing done.
    Church attended.
Confirmed with 3 friends that I'm providing a casserole on Tues before we go to the flower club Xmas demonstration.
All bought presents currently in dining room waiting to be wrapped and checked on or off a list!
    Wind ridiculously strong here.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
