Recipe please! Do you put it in a tin or cook it directly in the SC? - if so, how do you get it out in one piece?

    Morning all

Ionafan - Happy Birthday for yesterday. Sorry its late!
    Mumto5 - *hugs*

Ex has text to say he's ill so won't be coming to take DD out today. Although its not good that he's ill, its great timing as DD has 2 essays to write for English one due Monday and the other Wednesday. She's at clubs on Monday and Tuesday after school so she could do with the extra time!

I didn't get much done last night flying wise as I gave the livingroom a thorough vacuuming including the fire and shifting out the desk etc. Todays plan is to have a shower when I've finished this coffee, then run some errands in 2 (maybe 3 depending on the weather) different directions while DD is home in case my parcels arrive today (they're due tomorrow but I want to be sure) and then get on with the cleaning. How much I'll achieve today I don't know but I have all day tomorrow as well.

Monday ~ Lovely Living Room, Happy Hall and Safe Stairs
    15 minutes...

Vacuum these areas - just need to do the stairs and no doubt give the livingroom & kitchen another going over!
    30 minutes to spare...
Clean windows in these areas, check curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean?
Dust any areas below eye level
    Got an hour...
Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
    Tidy coats/shoes bags etc

Extra Mission Tasks~ if you want to do more
    • Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY!
Tuesday ~ Kitchen and dining room
    15 minutes...

    Clear and wipe work surfaces
Wipe down all the major appliances.. clean filters/drawers/seals etc
Wipe over the cupboards fronts and kickboards
    30 minutes to spare...
[STRIKE]Sweep and [/STRIKE] mop the floors
Run appliances through a 'clean' wash
    Deweb and defluff these rooms
    Got an hour...
Binbag dance! Grab a binbag.. fill it up.. and chuck it out!
Clean the oven.. and the shelves!

    Extras - help yourself!

[STRIKE]Strip bed linen [/STRIKE] and wash, replace with clean linen
    Vacuum floors in these areas
    Got an hour...
    Vacuum mattress
    Clean tops of drawers

Extra mission tasks, as always if you fancy an extra challenge try one or more of these
    • Clean windows in these areas
    • Check through drawers, anything that should have been thrown out ages ago?
    • Cobweb removal upstairs, go on grab a duster and swipe them down
    • Clean a set of curtains, nets or blinds
    • Clean light fittings and light switches in any room, more than one if you like
Thrilling Thursday - Study/PC area and Bathrooms

Friday!!~ those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms!
    30 minutes to spare...

I'm going to print the lists out so I don't have to keep coming back online to see what's left, especially as I'll be on my laptop as DD needs hers for her homework!

    See you all later

A hearty, healthy breakfast was eaten by all. DS1 dug holes in the gravel between the rocks on the raised bed, which DGD1+2 filled with topsoil; they they planted miniature bulbs and covered them up again while I wrote labels (hope I've got them all in the right place!). Not many plants got trodden on, and most of them are sedums which are as tough as nails.

Since they left I have weighed out the fruit for the wedding cakes (at last) and eaten an early lunch of leftovers.

    Off to sing now...

anyone want 3 small girls for a night so I can actually get some sleep at some point??

If I was nearer to you I would. Makes a change from teenagers making food/getting a shower/talking to their friends on the xbox at 1am. Mind you you probably have that as well.

Have done a load of washing and put it over the heated airer. Hoovered upstairs and had another go at making the bathroom look usable.

Dads birthday on Tuesday. Going to be really organised and drop his pressie and card off today in case I dont get over on the day.

Need to make a shopping list before I go out but I might just have 5 minutes with my book before I do any more.

Ooh dancemum that reminds me I need to book our Santa train too. Will ring them tomorrow.

DS back from bowling, DD and I both have new boots - yuck mine were letting in water this afternoon so not a moment too soon! No ballet pumps though.

Just done another mini wash to stay on top of things. And emptied DW. Kids have both eaten out so no cooking for me tonight :)

Shopping centre was busy but not manic and DD loved the massive tree and all the fancy decorations :)

Right we're off to get ready for the dancing - and DD has got her eye on DS party sweets
