My OH has almost given himself whiplash watching girls walking by.. so what?? .. it is me he comes home with, it is me he has chosen to spend his life with... why would you need to be that insecure unless you knew he had cheated and would again given half an opportunity!? I took a while to get to this point but if they are going to cheat they will whether they go out or not.. it isn't as if there are no other people of the opposite sex anywhere.

Personally.. if I go out I go to spend time with the people I am out with.. I'm not very friendy anyway so I don't usually talk to anyone else but if anyone male or female came over and wasn't being lewd and just chatted I could deal with that.. touch me.. you die! Lol.. I can barely deal with the man I've got I sure as hecky don't want another.

I don't dance, I am a stand at the bar and drink kinda person so I tend to not attract too many muppets anyway.

Occasionally we'll be driving along (me and OH). I'll notice an attractive female walking down the road, and I notice that he notices her too and I'll say something like 'she's hot' or 'nice !!!!'. I think it's an entirely human reaction that when someone crosses your line of sight you see them and your brain makes a judgement, whether it's nice boots, nice !!!! or nice coat, cute dog, whatever. It's how you proceed from there that is the issue.

I do also comment on other ladies. One girl once asked me to fasten a particularly difficult button the front of her top and she wasn't wearing a bra, I got quite flustered!
  • I think if we were all perfectly honest :), there are times when we ''all'' look the way of an attractive woman/man :) - no matter what age we might be.

I wasn't sure what the swear filters would allow but thought norks was a pretty safe bet :rotfl:

Crikey I point out girls to OH lol

He is a part time photographer and specialises in burlesque/alternative photography. He has had some gorgeous girls pose for him with hardly anything on

Doesn't bother me in the slightest I'm the one with the wedding ring on my finger. I'm the one he comes home too he can look as much as he likes

Me & my friends are just as bad and we do it in front of our partners. We were at a festival in June this GORGEOUS bloke walked past me and my mate we clocked him at the exact same time went "Phwoar wouldn't kick him out of bed" and then burst out laughing. Our partners just shook their heads laughed with us and said we were both terrible and how much had we had to drink

I'm not a jealous person in the slightest at the end of the day if they are going to stray then they aren't worth it and nothing I say or do will stop them

Thanks for your replies - you've reassured me. It just grosses me out the thought of leering over other women.

Yep always comes home to me but I hate saying that because it sounds a bit, have your fun while you're out, behave single, but come home to me please... know what I mean?

And yes he was honest about it. Rather than telling me what I want to hear he had enough respect for me to be honest. I think he thought I wouldn't mind as I'm not the typical 'scratch your eyes out' jealous woman. I wouldn't give any man the satisfaction of appearing that insecure. He has no idea I'm upset about it.

I am a bit too aloof whilst out I think. I do believe most men are after one thing which is why I suppose (go on tell me I'm wrong haha)
I think the bit in bold is contradictory.

If you're not the 'typical jealous woman' why does it upset you?

    Don't you trust him?

TBH, you do come across as insecure.

OP you sound very needy and insecure .

I can promise you one thing though, if you carry on like that he will get fed up of it and leave you for someone more confident.

Harsh I know but if you stop it now you'll be better for it

Oh my, I wish my DH would go out for a beer with his best pal - I'd even drive them there and pick them up! I did get him to do this when they attended the local beer festival, on the basis that sitting at groin-height to everyone else (I'm a wheelchair user), in a crowded hall, drinking only water because I'm driving, is NOT FUN!

But as a rule, he doesn't like to leave me on my own in the evenings when I've been at home alone all day, bless him; and I'm not fond of turning out for an evening in the pub.

As a side note, I'm more likely to notice if someone's got a dog with them than if they're attractive!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
