Back to the main question, if the house share is 50/50 in the new home and if the marriage breaks down, will the judge take into account the fact I have supported her for many years and given her things which now counts as her assets when apportioning the equity in the home?
Yes he will.
You'd need plenty of proof though.
Hope this helps :rotfl:0 -
Her cheating will have no effect on the seperation of assets. It only becomes relevant if its exceptional ( ie an ex subject to domestic violence by the other and injured and unable to work etc )Stuck on the carousel in Disneyland's Fantasyland

What I hadn't expected was seeing her on the smoking bench near the venue entrance with some bit of rough.
Why not tell her to get a room and stay over? That way she can get smashed and there's no arguing after if you don't know about it.0 -
I suggest this thread stays top of this forum until about 2017.0
