Morning all!
I have decided to take the plunge and stop smoking and put the money I would have saved towards this challenge.
Im not a very heavy smoker a packet lasts me a week but its still an extra £5 towards the challenge.
Dont know how successful i'll be but ill have a good go.
I'm off food shopping this morning with a budget of £50.00 (need to but nappies today) and anything I dont spend I will put towards it.
Thanks for the comps Emily - good Luck everyone. xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Millionaire in Training - Did you tell the people who gave you the books that you was going to sell them on? I have given away a lot of things via Freecycle and would be extremely pee'd off if someone had done as you plan to and not been upfront about it. If they had been my books I would have rather donated them to charity then give them to someone who abuses what the whole "Freecycle" community is about.
Will get off my soapbox now!0 -

Hmm, difficult topic this. I personally don't see a problem with collecting something from Freecycle and then selling it on. The person giving the items away wants them out of the way ASAP (most of the time) and they could take the time to sell them instead if they wanted to. I have often seen people put on their offered posts that they don't want people to sell the goods on which is fair enough and I'm sure that any decent person wouldn't get those goods to sell. I think that if people wanted the stuff to not be sold on then they should put that on their post.
I have sold some stuff on that I got from Freecycle and done a carboot with some other stuff. On the other hand I have too given stuff away on there and I didn't care what happened to it as long as it was out of my way.
That's just my opinion anyway.
