Just wanted to say this sounds like a great challenge, no debts here (other than mortgage and student loans and don't think we'll clear them by Christmas ;))

As someone else said may all children in Portsmouth stay off the roads ehallet (I grew up near Portsmouth and learned to drive round there)
    Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
Initial Mortgage free date - January 2058
    Mortgage as of 1st February 2024 - £159,134.98
    Overpayments to date - £79.62
Current Mortgage free date - January 2058

Thanks :D - stupid kid just walked out in front of the car in front of me and I couldn't avoid going into the bag of the woman's car. Mother of the boy has refused to pay any of my excess of £200  .

  • hi Emily I am going tojoin you again with this one.
I made a mistake with my calculation for M&S ( I did a balance transfer and counted wrong  ) so I still owe on it.
    debt 1) M&S £ 276.15
    DEBT 2) Barclaycard £90
    debt 3) Credit union £872.57

Total = £1238.72  . Wow this is a lot for me. The one good thing is though that when I get my credit union down to about £500 I can ue my shares to pay it off in full so really only about £750 to actually pay. Do-able I hope.

So lets get cracking folks and kick some debt a$$
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00

I thought I would do a little feature for this challenge - comp of the day!!

I will post a competition everyday that is free to enter online so that we can all try and win some prizes to help us out.

    So first up is: http://www.welovetoast.co.uk/Competition.aspx

There are loads of prizes on offer with this comp and it closes on 31st October.

    Good luck everyone :D

Fingers crossed for you - I'm going to try and look for comps that have a decent amount of prizes on offer. I might even post 2 a day, one that has a lot of prizes and one that has one really decent prize. :D

  • Hi,

Definetely would like to join this one. Will look out 3 debts and post them later as it is really late now and getting very tired. Don't know which ones but will pick the most realistic ones and let you know.
