Clear 3 Debts By Christmas Challenge!!

Hi everyone
I was going to start my new challenge at the beginning of september but as it is the 25th August today and Christmas is exactly 4 months away, I thought I would start it now. :rudolf:
The challenge: Clear 3 different debts by Christmas.
The rules: The 3 debts can be anything you like. You must declare them when you join the challenge so everyone knows what you are aiming for. They can be as big or small as you like so if you think it's hard to clear 3 debts in 4 months then just pick 3 of your smallest debts. It also doesn't matter what order you clear the debts in or whether you want to pay off an equal amount off each debt so they all reduce together.
The money can come from anywhere but only declare it off the debt when you have physically paid it off or saved it towards the debt (if it's a loan or hp for example).
The deadline: Christmas Day!! :snow_grin
On this thread we can encourage eachother with our debt-clearing. We can also share our ideas for making some extra money and I thought it would be good to share any bargain offers that people see for Christmas gifts or maybe competitions where there are a good selection of prizes on offer. This would help to cut the cost of Christmas down too.
For example, I have been buying some bits and pieces from Ebay already for Christmas. I got a Fiorelli gift set for my sister for only £11 including p&p and it costs £25 in the shops! I also got a DVD boxset for my mum for £8 when it costs around £18 in the shops (saving on postage as the seller lives in Portsmouth!).
Anyway, getting off topic now!!
I will kick the challenge off with my 3 debts:
Barclaycard - I tried to clear this with my previous challenge but thanks to some kid with no road sense I won't be able to clear it on that challenge so I am having to bring it over to this one!! The challenge is still going on and I am hoping to bring the card down to £200 before the end but at the moment it stands at £240.
Capital One Credit Card - There is £1,000 on this card and I have been trying to get rid of the horrible thing for ages!!
LloydsTSB Loan - This currently stands at £1,200 but if I can clear it then I will be freeing up £135 a month
.
I will mainly be relying on my money from AQA (will really have to work my socks off on that from now on!), mystery shopping, winning prizes and selling on Ebay.
So, let the challenge commence. If you would like to join in then please declare what 3 debts you are going to clear.
Good luck :j

I've been lurking for ages but really need a challenge to get me back on track. Have just come back from holiday where my lightbulb had a little flicker! But it's well and truely back on now!
My three smallest debts are:
Next: approx 100 pounds
Barclay card: approx 2000 pounds
LTSB visa: approx 800 pounds (sorry pound sign doesn't work)
I will hunt out the exact figures this evening when the kids have gone to bed. It would be fab to get these paid off by Xmas leaving me with just one rather large card to pay.
Good luck:beer:
