Mega-Cheap Nokia 1100 on Virgin PAYG

Once the airtime has run out I was thinking of giving the phone to my Dad, his current one is as big as a microwave, if i get it unlocked now so he can use his orange sim on it at a later date does that mean that i wouldn't be able to use virgin now.

I can second that. Browntoa helped me unlock mine and another MSE'r very kindly gave me an Orange Sim so that I could make use of the Orange Wednesdays 2 for 1 Film Offer, so now I can just put the Orange Sim in on a Wednesday night, or when I am calling someone else on Orange, and then switch back to my Virgin Sim (which is generally cheaper for the calls and texts I make) for the rest of the week.

Yippee! I finally got it to work as well, ordered one for me and one for hubby (had to order them seperately for some reason)

I bought the 3510i from Orange courtesy of this site a couple of months ago. I unlocked it, again thanks to this site, and have used my own sim since. I still have the orange PAYG sim, how do I use it for the Orange Wednesdays 2 for 1 Film Offer? and how much would I have to spend/ how often would I have to top up?
