I've got pictures of my wife on my phone but even she'd find it a bit odd if I stuck them in a slideshow and spent all day looking at them.
That type of infatuation would be quite alarming to a lot of people. It isn't that people would necessarily be bothered that somebody was just looking at their photographs but that someone was obsessing over those photographs.
It is alarming. And I'm sorry, but although age shouldn't matter; I am in my 30s, and the thought of someone my dad's age (over 60!) obsessing over pictures of me, makes me sick to my stomach. And why does he have these pictures? How did he even get them? Has the OP answered that yet?fairy_lights wrote: »There is a massive difference between browsing through a friends holiday photos, and downloading their selfies on to your hard drive to watch in a continuous lonely loop while you fantasise about what could have been. A MASSIVE difference.
Yes it is totally different to just perusing through a friend's FB pics.Person_one wrote: »You could, I'm pretty sure most people don't, and creating a slideshow of an acquaintance? Sorry, but creepy.
No they don't and yes it IS weird. I mean, I have a slideshow of David Beckham pictures... But what woman doesn't haha.Although the OP says this woman is single, from this post of his, it looks like he isn't!
Well that's awkward! People really need to remember what they have said on here in the past don't they?! :rotfl:cooeeeeeeeee :j :wave:0 -
Sorry OP but the pictures on the PC are a bit weird, I'd hate it if someone had photo's of me and I didn't know!! Not being harsh, seems as tho you like her genuinely and you're not a creeper :rotfl: - is she in a relationship? If not, why not ask her for a drink or a lunchtime meal?
If he did that he would have to make his intentions obvious first IMO. I am in my 30s and if a guy in his 60s who I had known for ages mentioned lunch I would probably assume it was just a friendly thing. That will only prolong his misery.0 -
Assuming you don't work with anyone youre asking out there would be no awkwardness if they said noThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

And I think people would be less freaked if it was just sexual fantasising, love fantasising is not a healthy activity for anybody and people wont know how to handle itThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I think everyone occasionally secretly fancy people for a short period of time but decide not to act upon it and it probably goes on more than people ever realise. I think as well its better for people to vent like that than to cheat or have a nervous breakdownThis is a system account and does not represent a real person.
