    Morning all

Planning on getting to a yoga class this morning and then a bit of shopping in the closest town to there afterwards.

I've cleaned the toilets and sinks and put the washing on the maiden; I'll do a bit more flying later.

No sunshine or blue sky here, and hardly any wind. I don't think it's going to be much of a drying day, but I will try to get out in the garden to work for an hour or two.

My list for today (you will recognise some items from previous lists :o):
    - strip, air and remake our bed with thicker duvet
    - WM x1 x2
    - S&S bathroom and kitchen: whole house to be cleaned right through tomorrow with DH
    - membership packs to JM and EW
    - sort 2 ring binders
    - filing
    - reply to wedding invitation
    - type up notes from PP meeting
    - email notes and book title to AW
    - phone BB
    - print address labels
    - check freezer for Xmas puddings and make if necessary
    - check which other ingredients I need for P's cakes
    - front garden
    - music practice tonight (second this week :))
    - shop for food bank

(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks to all, especially LW and bossy. Catch up later x

    Morning.

Didn't log in yesterday as I had one of those days where nothing seemed to go right, and time flew faster than light. :( I spent Tuesday night delivering to customers. For the first time in a long time everyone was in and everyone paid (except for a couple who asked in advance if I could deliver Friday instead). I think it had more to do with the weather than them co-operating though :rotfl:

    Right, catching up with thread:
LW - huge gentle hugs to you.
    CY - Yay for DD2 completing :j
Bossy - I had a molar removed 2 years ago (2nd double one back) as I got repeated infections in the tooth. The only time I've momentarily regretted it is when I've bitten something like crisps and the edge has caught the gum where the tooth should be or sometimes a piece of apple, for example, gets wedged there briefly. However I'd rather have the slight discomfort from that occasionally then the repeated infections back!

Today's plan is to get the laundry done. I need a shower but somehow all the towels are in the wash again and I need to iron some clothing. I'm still struggling to find jeans which fit me, one size is too big, the next one down uncomfortably to small which means I currently have 2 pairs of jeans suitable for this weather :( I need to put books & some cards out to customers later on. I can't wait for my Christmas break, I've already told customers I'm not working after the 18th until the 4th Jan! :D Well as far as they're concerned anyway. I still have admin stuff to do over Christmas but there's no knocking on doors etc.

    This weeks list:
    - Christmas gift ideas for me & DD
    - Juggle budget - I think this is done, but time will tell.
    - Deal with meat still in the fridge
    - Sort Christmas to buy lists
    - Deal with veg in fridge
    - Redo meal plan (planning for a month obviously doesn't work for us)
    - Read instructions for new boiler, CM detector (and put it up)
    - Buy curtain rail for kitchen.
    - Pay bills
    Work
    - Newsletter (highlight last book before Christmas & possible different delivery day due to other commitments) Written, just needs to be printed, cut and labelled.
    - Deliver to customers - Need to make more deliveries Friday night for those who contacted me to ask for a later delivery date :D
    - Money to bank. - Saturday job weather permitting as I'm planning on walking there.

Time for me to feed the dog as it appears DD has forgotten again  Juggle the washing, then get the ironing done while I watch something. There's not much to do so it shouldn't take me long. ;) Catch you later

Just a quick catchup and :coffee:.
Bossymoo fwiw I had a root canal done a few years ago and it wasn't long before the blighter got infected and had to come out anyway; should have saved the money! Hope it gets sorted soon.

    Another mouse to RIP.

One load washing done, pretty rainy here so it's a maiden job Ifeel not a washing line.

Not much else to report really - just about keeping up with basics round all the work. Managing to write about 5 Xmas cards at a time when I get a few moments, so whittling them down. I'd written all of them last year before Mr N went to hospital, so a few "friends you only write to once a year at Xmas" are none the wiser; the roundup of annual news will be a bit different from usual.

My 11am student cancelled for today, which is good news as it meant a lie-in and a bit of catchup! Just one assessment this afternoon to do; so pleased I didn't offer to do any tomorrow although I know they are desperate but for once good sense got the better of good nature. It will be gym tomorrow then more catchup and have decided on new printer so will either get that on the way home this eve or maybe tomorrow.

Pigpen that is seriously pink! She will love it I'm sure, it looks great.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Thanks all. Frustratingly, I had the root canal done in my early twenties. And the crown they fitted lasted until this year, when a "leak" (what does that even mean?" Was picked up in a routine x-ray. So that first one lasted aaages and now I've had this one maybe 7 months.

I'm going to take a few days to decide what to do. Not rushing it.

This morning I've had a spot of retail therapy. Got some xmas craft bits, some giant chocolate buttons (lunch, since I can't have wine), a onesie and lip balm for DD and an advent calendar for DS. Oh, and me! I looked at the wilkinsons beauty advent but it was just nail stuff, and I gel mine. But superdrug had one with little lipsticks and stuff in, so I've bought myself one of those :T no doubt DD will want to swap for the Elsa chocolate one, haha.

I also have a new jacket, smart casual, to replace my faux leather one that is peeling (!) after all these years.

Oh I cleaned the shower waste pluggy thing. *barf* _pale_

Similar situation here - root canal in twenties, refilled once when the filling came out. Then in the new year the tooth broke and there wasn't enough to refill. So crown in January. In August the crown broke off and there was almost no tooth left (root filled teeth become brittle, so this isn't unusual).

It's a pre-molar, so I had the implant put in immediately after the extraction - there is no need for the bone to grow into the hole and the dentist then make a new one. It is NOT pleasant. I now have a metal post in the gap, and pain is gradually decreasing, but it lasts a while as a. teeth move around as the space changes and b. bone is growing (turns out that hurts). New crown will go on in January. Cost is around £3k in total.

If its at the back it is possible to leave the space BUT it will have an impact on your upper teeth as they will have nothing to bite on.

If you do go ahead, make sure you get it done by someone good. Implants last a lifetime and are VERY difficult to remove (harder than extracting teeth as the bone goes through them and they have to drill them out), so the last thing you want is it done badly and to have issues.

PM me if you have questions. It's also worth asking advice on the Health and Beauty board.
