  • Morning everyone

Came downstairs to a wet patch on the office floor where doggie sleeps. OH is very good about making sure that he goes out and does a pee before bed so it is very odd. Washing the rug wasnt on my plan this morning.

Thinking of you LW and great news CY. I am itching to move house but not looking forward to the actual process itself.

Paid stuff this morning, on my own today as boss is on holiday. Weather is calm this morning but rain forecast. Hope no-one has been affected by the storms.

Right, better get myself in the shower.

Hugs to all that need them
Special coping vibes things going smoothly vibes for LW, your know mrlw and the furry visitors need you and we want you on this thread.
Glad the completion went through for your dd CY and I hope the move goes easily.
Staying safe any day vibes to everyone in the flood risk areas.
Hope everyone was safe in last nights winds, they were horrendous.

Boys off to another frank turner concert tonight, may have to listen to one of their CDs after work if I need the muppet ear worm replacing with my usual one which is 'silent key' by him as the lads play his stuff so often.

Won't be around much till later as work all morning then round mils so friends Dh can replace her kitchen tap.
Cleared loads of paper off the table that needs recycling so will bag that up before work.

    Have a good day all

Pigpen, I have just been using a knife (to trim down one edge) and a bit of icing and turned 11 fig roll biscuits into little books, each with a red ribbon bookmark peeking out from the bottom :rotfl:
There were only 11 in the packet, I haven't eaten any :P

Falling behind again this morning... must dash. Catch up later x

    Lol ionafan figgy books, lovely!

pigpen I loved that muppet track when I was little :)

I have finished my huge piece of work :T a day ahead of deadline. Wooty woot!

Just having a breather and I'll start on next weeks work - for an hour. I'm going to the dentist this aft - although I'm not sure why now - the abscess has drained _pale_ so not sure they can do anything with it. Although it does keep coming back. Typical. At least they will make sure it's fully clean. Yuck.

I've had a wash going but not done much else. LR tidy and vacced but I'll go round with a cloth later. We are supposed to be out for tea tonight with friends that are emigrating.

piggers we have a training day next Wed and I promised I'd take the kiddies to The Deep again. Wanna meet up? Is there a shopping centre nearby too? They want to choose xmas pressies for the grannies and granddads...

I know that, and I thank the Goddess for friends like you, who will tell it *exactly* like it is.
Does Mr LW know how low you are now? If not please tell him.
Yes, he does; bless him, he doesn't know how to make it better, but he knows that a part of my MH condition is that I battle with suicidal thoughts on a daily basis.

    Oh dear, what's wrong, mate?

I suppose I'd better talk a bit about Flying, lest I get kicked off the thread!:D
Big Frog eaten - we've had all the stuff off the tops of the wardrobes in the bedroom, dusted, evicted several arachnids, and put it all back tidily. It needed Mr LW to help, as the "stuff" is as follows:
    • Cardboard box of back numbers of Companions (PDSA mag) and Wolf Print (UK Wolf Conservation Trust mag)
    • Cardboard box of back numbers of Vox Pagana and Pagan Dawn
    • Sewing machine (stored in its box)
    • Wicker hamper of various bits and pieces such as disposable plastic gloves, spare razor handles, disposable shower caps etc
    • Cardboard box full of champagne corks (don't ask!)
    • Plastic crate containing candle-making stuff
    • Plastic crate containing wool stash
    • Box with my 2 sun hats in (to keep them nice and dust free)
    • Box with my thigh-length boots in (to keep them nice and dust free)
    • Cardboard box with old mobile phones + the bits to do with Mr LW's smartphone that he doesn't currently use
    • Fan which we only bring out in the hot weather, stored in its box
It took less time than we thought. I'm now going to suggest another Frog, which it tidying up Mr LW's "personal" file - it's a mess, and he can't readily find things when he needs them. Normally I leave him to it, as it's *his* stuff, but I think an intervention is called for.

Once again, my friends, thank you all so much for being there for me. I cannot tell you how much it's appreciated.
Dodgy :grouphug: for all who can handle it, and *High Fives* for everyone else.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Ah LW who really cares about flying - hearing what Pigpen can do with fig rolls is much more interesting. Mind you that is a fair stash on top of the wardrobe. Sounds a bit like my utility room cupboards.

LR dusted and hoovered. Casserole made for tea. Carpet sweeper deployed upstairs, load of washing in but not sure how I will dry it. It will be airer or tumbler I guess although tomorrow is supposed to be better weather.

Better feed the family then gym class.
