In the meantime, the poor OP is probably wondering what he/she has let him/herself in for.
May I suggest that the arguments are split off into another thread (preferably shaped like a boxing ring) and the occupants left to it?
May I also suggest that future threads meant to help people do not descend into "IPC appeal" v "no IPC appeal", or "The Deep" versus "most of the rest", whatever?
We all know where CM stands and where The Deep stands on the matter, isnt it enough to point to the pros and cons on the subject in the Newbies thread??Bournemouth - home of the Mighty Cherries0 -
Hi,
short update:
today I have posted tracking letter to Aldi customer care to cancell fine with all proof.
I still did not received any written communication from UKPC.0 -
but , thought aldi said they did not employ them , it was asked earlier WHO,S land where you on?
obviously not aldi's because they did not employ them
your post No 8
"I called Aldi customer office today. But they told me that they do not have contract with UKPC only with Parking eye and if I had their ticket they could cancel it if I send proof which I stated in my post at beginning. "
tracked postage is un necessary , a simple 1st class with proof of postage (FREE) will do0 -
Yes. Exactamundo, it's always been the case which is why the advice is written the way it is in the NEWBIES thread = slam dunk win, no keeper liability if the PPC don't jump through the hoops of all 3 conditions explained by nigelbb. Are you saying that PPCs must obtain your details from the DVLA, even though you have supplied them yourself?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

CM, along with all the others, you have failed to grasp my point. For PPCs to send valid NTKs they must do as you all say, but we all know they many send invalid NTKs. I really do not see an argument here, am I being too sophisticated for you all?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

How many times are you going to regret saying that? :rotfl:You may say that I am splitting hairs, but I spent five years drafting Treaties in the Legal Department of the FCO, where even a misplaced comma could be fatal. Accuracy in the written word is in my D.N.A.
Clearly far too sophisticated!... but we all know they many send invalid NTKs. I really do not see an argument here, am I being too sophisticated for you all?

Deep - shhh... you are fermenting torment where there is none.
Intellectually your points stand-up. But are they core to the thread? Time for a little self reflection - you are precise, but sometimes a little distant. in my view we would all show a little more humility with a huge dose of self-deprecation.
Guys - I am relatively new, but value this board immensely. All well thought contributions are valuable, so no need to for anyone to get bent out of shape over a difference of opinions.0 -

They told me that when I called customer care. But it not cost me to send letter by post. At least to try.0

ok , have you located the signage yet (ukpc), and found the name of the shop that hired them , or does the signage say PE0
