Looking at whart you wrote they have not got your address so with them being banned fron the DVLA database all they can do is threaten you via E mail, a quick FO should sort that out. (or did you give them your address?)Hi,
I have parked the car front of Aldi (Hatfield) and went to take a ticket with my 1y infant child at 12:05h. My wife went to Aldi shop.
Ticket could not be bought from closest “pay and Display” machine.
Ticket need to be bought from opposite side where car was parked. To reach 2nd “pay and Display” machine with infant, I needed 2 minutes. Another 3 minutes was spend waiting in queue. After ticket was bought and went back to car to display a ticket on dashboard fine was already stuck on window.
Parking notice was issue at 12:06 and my ticket was bought at 12:11 13.11.2015. Photographic Evidence was taken between 12:08-12:10 only one minute before I am back.
I took picture of out of order pay and display machine at 12:13 and my wife has Bill from Aldi store from 12:09.
I did not read forum and I made mistake submitting appeal that I am owner of car. I did not relive who is a driver at least.
I called Aldi but they could not help me with UKPC notice.
I am waiting now respond from UKPC.
Here is appeal which I have submitted on-line to UKPC:
Subject: Penalty Parking Charge Notice Appeal
Reference: 1327953XXXXXXX
To Whom It May Concern,
I am appealing the Penalty Parking Charge Notice with the above mentioned reference dated on 13/11/2015 at 12:06.
The PCN 1327953XXXXX alleges that the vehicle XXXX XXX was parked and did not display parking ticket at dashboard.
The driver of Car XXX XXX went to buy a ticket with 1 year infant child. (From Photographic Evidence which UKPC officer took child seat can be seen inside a car).
Ticket could not be bought from closest “pay and Display” machine.
In uploaded evidence you can find a picture that closes “pay and Display” machine was out of order.

In uploaded evidence you can find that ticket was bought at 12:11 13.11.2015 and fine was issue 5 min earlier. Photographic Evidence was taken between 12:08-12:10 only one minute Driver was back with infant.
UKPC officer noticed that Penalty Parking Charge was issue unfairly and advise to appeal online because Penalty Parking Charge Notice is in system and he cannot change it.
All the car park owner (CPO) can claim from a driver in damages for any breach of contract is what they’ve lost as a result. If this is a free car park or they paid, this is £0.00. Asking for more has been judged to be unreasonable and therefore an unfair contract penalty under the terms of The Unfair Contract Terms Act 1997, which is not legally enforceable. See Dunlop Pneumatic Tyre Co. Ltd. vs. New Garage & Motor Co. Ltd., House of Lords, 1914 and countless cases since..
Yours sincerely,

Not so if you write to them stating you are the keeper though. Many people out themselves thusly.
Not so. Nigelbb is right.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No, I am not talking specifically about this case, but in general. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

It seems that the PPC's have succeeded in fomenting dissent between established members who have all helped drivers in the past, it is only in the interest of the PPC's to continue this way. make friends, the only ones to fight are them, not each other.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Indeed I am & I even quoted the relevant paragraphs from POFA to support my advice. It's probably too much to ask The Deep not to pontificate on subjects that he is not competent to offer an opinion on time en that he clearly loves the sound of his own voice.0 -
Yes Nigel, no-one is saying that you are not, but I am also right.
Are you saying that PPCs must obtain your details from the DVLA, even though you have supplied them yourself? That seems to be what CM is saying.
I have an MA in English Literature Nigel, are you saying that I know nothing about the meanings of words? Although I am struggling with this:

You cannot blame PPC's for any of the dissent that has been caused here over the last few days!
Posters (who assume they should not have their "advice" corrected because of their supposed vast experience) miffed by someone resorting to posting ridiculous lies as a justification/calling others trolls etc is nothing to do with the PPC's!0 -

So Peter, are you saying that if someone gives poor advice, because they have a high post count, they should not be taken to task for it?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

That is precisely what the statute requires . No application to the DVLA for RK details means no keeper liability. Without reliance on the provisions of POFA there cannot be keeper liability consequently the strict requirements of the act must be met .0 -
Hi,
Parking was at:
Parkhouse Court
Tamblin Way
Hatfield
Herts
AL10 9QZ
And Aldi shop:
11 Parkhouse Court
Hatfield AL10 9RQ
There is a few shops around that parking also Domino pizza...
I will go next week to Aldi shop and try to talk with manager and also send complain via post to Aldi customer service.
When I submit appeal to UKPC you have two option, submit as The driver or car owner.
Also you need to write your address before submitting appeal on-line. Appeal I have submitted as owner of car. But I tick that communication should be via email.0
