Blind date error

I think I'm scared more than anything else. My ex was more like the guy next door so I feel a bit out of my league with this guy.
Perhaps its just nerves on my part.
So you were attracted to the face of the one who wasn't as good looking, and because of your nerves, felt gutted that it was the good looking one there, and now you are wondering whether to go on another date despite the fact that he is lovely and clearly showing an interest.
That doesn't make any sense!0 -
FBaby will you stop saying I was gutted at someones face that is not why I was gutted.
I personally do not llike photos of topless men as it gives a certain impression and if that doesn't make sense to you that that's on you. It makes sense to me and that's all what matters.
Have a good afternoon. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
My advice
Forget you met him on a dating site.....as in your head you didn't.
You met him on a blind date - he likes you, wants to take you out again - Do you want to see him (not the picture in your head but the bloke you met) again. If you do ring him and accept lunch for tomorrow - if you don't -let him know so he can move on.
Frankly I don't see what you have to lose by a second dateI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Dutcy you don't even know me yet you're jumping down my throat calling me shallow.
You are the one that is totally rude. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -

Are you saying he sent you a topless photo? (Oh why did we lose the puzzled smiley?)0 -
From what has been written so far, I can totally see why Duchy & FBaby have called you 'shallow'.
Maybe you would like to explain why you were 'gutted' then perhaps other posters can get where you are coming from with this 'dilemma'.FBaby will you stop saying I was gutted at someones face that is not why I was gutted.

And attacking people for giving their opinions is perhaps not the best way to seek advice on a public forum.0 -

Here you go - take your pick:

So this person sent you a topless photo of himself (but you thought that he was someone else) but you liked the photo of someone else. Correct?
Photos can tell lies - just as people can - and if you feel uneasy, then walk away.0 -
We can only go by what you wrote, with the first impression being based on your choice of words in the tittle.
It is very hard to read behind the lines and somehow trying to deduct what the issue was. I've now got my imagination going and thinking that you were gutted because he was the guy in the picture without a top and he showed to be hairy and you hate hairy men!
We can't guess what it is that is bothering you if you don't make it clear in your OP.0
