Thank-you MKS all good ...hope things are looking up for you too :A
You have such a good memory :Tas it is indeed Master Lala's Birthday tomorrow..and does not seem possible he has done his 3years at Cambridge already and will shortly be a working young man:T:T
Goodness me, time flies.
I always remember the time when firstly my DD2 went off to uni and chatting to Lala about her crying in the shower and then the next year Master Lala was off it only seems like yesterday.
Exciting when graduation day gets here, has Master Lala already had his. DD2 will not finally graduate until 2017. Not sure what happens about this masters year whether it gets incorporated into the medical degree or whether she gets to graduate twice.
Wishing him good luck for his future. :beer:0 -

Just quoting myself, what do I do with the points now I have got them.
Spend them? Or keep collecting more - until you are at a point at which you have preferably kept away from Sains for so long that you get sent cond.spends at a point at which you have amassed enough points to pay, preferably outright, for the rest of the bill (cond.spend amount needed to be reached less the money off amount). Which will then be way cheaper in A.
Use as many free ways of collecting points as possible. Never shop there with your card as you won't have kept away enough to get higher value incentives to "come back". They don't seem to give any till spits these days so no point bothering shopping there. If you do, never spend in excess of £10 on any shop (and never have the points from any shop in excess of that amount added onto your card) as they will simply want you to spend more on the cond.spends that way. Never spend more than £10 on fuel in any one transaction, if you use your 'loyalty' card, as that will also mean the spend required on cond spends will go up. In short, spend as little as possible with them and keep away from them as much as possible, then you will need much bigger incentives to get you back:D. Like £10 off a £20 shop that's £10 in A. In my dreams:rotfl::(.0 -

Just wondering how or if it will work....
I have a £4.50 off a £30 shop but plan to boost nectar ooints to £40 to use on TTD wine.
I'm planning to spend the £40 I need to on wine and then add coupons and buy one or two bits..... If my total bill goes to say £50 will I still qualify fir the conditional spend do we think?
If it's a £30 conditional spend why are you trying to get it to £50?
ETA: Spirits don't count towards a conditional spend threshold, is it the same with wine? In which case wouldn't you need to get to £70 (£40 wine, £30 other)?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
250 is £2.50 can you spend in sains or argos or look on your ectar account and all different ideas there
500 points is £2.50 in sains/argos
although for the next week you can double up in Sains so 250 is £2.50 in there for a wee bitApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0
