Thanks. Is this certain categories again? They always exclude groceries (sadly they are learning:() so you can't get anything doubled up and then pricematched to A.

You're lucky - wasn't mhoc getting nothing? I did the fuel thing (bought fuel from them about ten times now:( - on each occasion, nothing!). I didn't expect any till spits to be given however - and I got precisely none. Maybe they are not missing me enough - and I certainly need to keep away even more (after undoubtedly reset my period to nought from doing the fuel buying).

Yes it is still total nothing - ness here - no till spits except for triple points or doubles if you spend over £50 - no good if you only spend a few pounds at a most.
    No mailings
No basket item except double points on mycoupons and no items worth buying
Nothing on nectar.com worth getting excited about
Nothing left in trolleys to womble

I think I need to rewrite the poem called November

Ditto in mr Tosssers - nothing with statements, no till spits, no wombles

Trouble is we just don't spend much at all. Double/triple/even quadruple points are worthless - what, a few pence for spending pounds? I did get though a series of cond.spends over the summer but ignored them all (I think it was double points if I used them all - but totally useless as I'd then have to spend well, infinity times the amount I actually spent since I spent nothing. Or maybe I used one of the coupons as I could pay almost outright with points and then diminishing BMs - wasn't going to add any real cash that would see me getting less in points back - even so, with four coupons sent to me, I would have had to have spent three times the amount I did - and did not have Nectar points to do that - in order to get a few points). Maybe my ignoring them has made them think I don't need incentives and won't be influenced by them to come back and shop with them? So they are sending me nothing. However, I would have lost more money (as I see all shopping being these days - a loss of money:rotfl:) if I had shopped with them. A weekly shop of £70? That's a £70 loss!:rotfl::rotfl:

Not to worry - either they'll sent me cond.spends again - way off in the future now no doubt:( (due to the fuel spends:(:() - or else I won't be shopping with them at all and thus not spending any money on shopping with them.

I ignored those cond.spends as they would have required me to spend money. And I don't aim to do shopping unless it's profitable for me:rotfl:.

Spend them? Or keep collecting more - until you are at a point at which you have preferably kept away from Sains for so long that you get sent cond.spends at a point at which you have amassed enough points to pay, preferably outright, for the rest of the bill (cond.spend amount needed to be reached less the money off amount). Which will then be way cheaper in A.

Use as many free ways of collecting points as possible. Never shop there with your card as you won't have kept away enough to get higher value incentives to "come back". They don't seem to give any till spits these days so no point bothering shopping there. If you do, never spend in excess of £10 on any shop (and never have the points from any shop in excess of that amount added onto your card) as they will simply want you to spend more on the cond.spends that way. Never spend more than £10 on fuel in any one transaction, if you use your 'loyalty' card, as that will also mean the spend required on cond spends will go up. In short, spend as little as possible with them and keep away from them as much as possible, then you will need much bigger incentives to get you back:D. Like £10 off a £20 shop that's £10 in A. In my dreams:rotfl::(.

    Why is the limit £10?
I try to spend max of a couple of pounds and ideally put single items through at a time so the average spend is as low as possible
Petrol is a bit more difficult though as its a 10 mile round trip so we tend to do full tanks but it is something I am going to think about

I do try to avoid the place but its our best recycling place and its next to a good B & M so we end up in the direction at least once a week

Had to stop myself from buying the restocked kegs today. :o

Wonder if DM found any in the end.

Have only got 16 cidres. Got 4 first week and 12 this week. Hoping for another bash this week if they are doing the vouchers again. I'm not put off yet. :rotfl:
Nope, tried the 2 tescos near me, both had stock, both were full price :(

I missed the first week of cidre, so made up for it the second week, and will hope to get some this week too. Dont know how people have the nerve to get so many in a shop, I have limited it to 6 a shop, and felt awkward doing that many :rotfl:

Hmmm, wonder where my invite is this year? (Although I think I might have invited myself the other years).

Speaking of making a profit from shopping - or, at least, causing them a loss (without breaking the law or shoplifting etc.) - I think this is maybe one use of TBG (although they require you to buy 10 items:(, which probably does reduce or remove the chances of you being able to cause them a loss) - because, obviously, some promotions are deals between manufacturers and particular stores but, if you shop in the competitor, the competitor doesn't get paid for that. So, maybe we should buy at T only items that are on real good loss-leader loss-making offer at M (supported by a deal that M has struck between itself and manufacturers) - so that T sells to us, with the 'discount', at M prices - but isn't getting funded by the manufacturer for them.

However, they require 10 items and you can't simply buy the one loss-making item (loss-making at the competitor's price) from them. Maybe just buy their own loss-leaders and forget about anything else from them:rotfl:. (Lets other customers, who buy much more, subsidise the cost of our shopping:D:rotfl:.)

OMG it is so windy here, we have police all around our village, trees down everywhere, our trampoline went for a walk over the otherside of the garden, It is recycling day tomorrow and all the people have put their bins out, and the rubbish is flying all around the streets, looks a bloody mess.

Same here. Think the trampoline has gone AWOL, the wind is still high but its gone quiet out there. I decided not to put the recycling bins out in case they fly away. Herts police have tweeted that there are lots of trees down. Hope no one has an accident after midnight when the street lights go off!
